Hi PJ! I've been working out with you for years and I always love it. I've had a strange schedule lately and haven't been able to fit as many workouts in over the past few months. It means so much to me to have the monthly calendars nearby, knowing that I can jump back into it anytime. I worked out today and while I don't do it quite often enough, each time I do a "PJ workout", I feel encouraged, a little bit stronger, and more motivated to continue. I'm glad you are always there!

I loved this workout! And PJ--I love your explanations and lessons! I have learned so much about how to improve my form to fix bad form from the past (that has probably contributed to some of my joints revolting on me now). I feel like it has helped me become much better, stronger, and happier when exercising. I am willing to go that extra step and push a little further because of how you emphasize getting the correct form first--when to take moves slower to build muscles; when to go faster to build endurance and conditioning. Basically--I love it!

Loved this workout! Question for you - is it better to go up in weights and still do every other arm or stay at the same weight and do both arms at the same time? Just curious.

I would stay same weight and do both arms at same time (unless, of course, we are doing a unilateral workout) If you start to struggle with the new weight then you have the option to work single arm. A common rule of thumb in weight training is the 2 for 2 rule. This rule states that if you can complete 2 additional reps with perfect form on your final set of an exercise, it's time to increase the weight. This ensures that you consistently push yourself and progress in your strength training.
