Is there such a thing as free will in sports? Or are they truly bound by determinism? Like it or not, moments in sports can be rigged. When there are millions of dollars involved in an industry that is built to entertain the masses, the rigging of the product on the field can, and has been done. And we get very upset when we find out it has. And today we’re gonna look at five more blatantly rigged moments in sports.

Dale Jr's win didn't come from other racers letting him win (you don't know race car drivers if you think 1, let alone multiple would let him intentionally pass, let alone win). They probably did it with a fuel additive on the last pit stop (with NASCAR's consent).

One that's rigged- in the first three years after Lebron left Cleveland, the Cavs won 2 of the 3 #1 draft picks despite having some of the lowest chances. Shocking that the lottery that takes place behind closed doors somehow helped a team replace their biggest talent by beating the 0.0064% chance. I did the math years ago so that number may not be exact, but I remember that is was astronomical.

Here's one for you. Renault's Crashgate in the 2008 Singapore F1 race. Fernando Alonso ended up winning after starting the race from 16th thanks to his teammate, Nelson Piquet Jr deliberately wrecking in a section of the track where it took quite long to evacuate the car after Alonso pitted the earliest out of everyone. Everyone else was forced to pit under the following Safety Car, giving Alonso the lead in the process. Why was this big, because at the time it was Renault's first race win since 2006, Alonso's last championship year.

One questionable pass interference call against the Seahawks, dozens of missed holding calls that the Seahawks got away with. You really need to let it go man. You could argue Ben's TD was iffy but that's kind of how reviews go. The score wasn't 21-20, Steelers scored more than twice the Seahawks, and they were clearly the better team.

I thought this series was legit until I heard 5 points say that. DEI was a dominant force on the restrictor plate tracks during the early 2000's. Hell they even won with Waltrip at the 500 that year, the same race that Dale Sr. died. There has been real scandals in sports and that is not one of them. I love seeing NASCAR represented on these sorts of lists, but not that event and not this list. Love your vids 5 points, but there are many NASCAR races that were actually rigged, with phantom cautions or teams cheating.
