I think every single Starbucks I've been in is designed differently so this isn't exactly true. Only one had the register towards the back. I've never seen door handles like that.

I find their shops too confusing. It's a sensory overload when you walk in there. The product placement, the advertising, the bakery case, the stuff on the counter, the menu, jumping over the table and chairs...the worst part, stocking the milk and sugar right next to the pick up area.....everyone is standing there waiting on coffee and I can't get to the milk! I skip their shops now and pop into the grocery store location to avoid the stress of their over designed coffee store. There are too many "Chiefs" on the design staff!

Not exactly for all locations, some times it's in the middle of the store with merch at the front.

This store is University Village III in the University District of Seattle, Washington. It is one of the stores I work at!
