HR is the worst thing to exist. Even if they dont exist companies can still exist. No role whatsover. Experience of over 7 years across 3 industries and never have i seen HR role to be relevant

HR has made the work environment akin to everyone walking on eggshells. Can't tell someone they look great. Can't smile at someone. Can't touch someone on the arm or shoulder. Can't ask anyone about anything. EVERYONE is so damn sensitive! Can't make a joke in a positive way about a co-worker that you like. But if you find 450.00 like I did at where I work, NOBODY heard about that. Just me and the service advisor who I gave the money to and then to the owner. He is now a parts driver at the company, said he wasn't *producing enough*. As one who is observing all the things that go on in said company, HR is a big joke. They also accuse people of things that never happened. When you don't have facts, make shit up! That should be their motto. HR makes it impossible to get into a relationship (platonic or otherwise) with the opposite sex. And on and on and on..........

Wow basic stuff going wrong. I feel sorry for HR because ultimately it is a business decision to get rid of people and HR have no say in that. however we do have a choice whether to try influence that decision.
