Hey guys! How about the original Nintendo Game Boy? Which games did YOU play the most as a kid? I'd love to know. Thanks for watching!
@lordsofkobol73853 жыл бұрын
Mario Land is my favourite Mario game ever. Is unique because it was developed by a different team from all the others. I was hooked when I began discovering those invisible blocks with things poppin out of them. Tetris can't be denied a place on my list. Kirby's block Ball is there too. I'm a big fan of those type of games myself. Twin bee. Xenon 2. Qix.

For me it would've been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Qix, and Alleyway

Tetris is definitely my favorite. It was a constant battle with friends to see who could get the most lines. I played Tetris from the day it came out all the way thru my high school life (which was 2002 when I graduated)..thing is, I wasn't always playing it on Game Boy....it was against the rules to bring those to school where I went, but we did have TI graphing calculators which we would put Tetris on and you could do 2 player with the TI link cable. My friends and I would always play during lunch

As a kid my parents purchased us a game gear. We had a few games for it, I remember we had sonic chaos I think, some x men game and lion king. It was great but we swapped it with one of my mom's friends for maybe a few weeks. We got a Gameboy with qix, batman, Mario land 2 and of course Tetris. Even though the game gear could be described as superior in graphics and color, the game boy was just far more entertaining. Eventually when the color variant came out many years later we finally got one, and I know my mom was happy about it too as she played through Zelda dx on it. Great memories, thanks for the videos!

You make me feel old as i was about 13 when my mate got the Gameboy. I got one a year later. Even though i had been playing the Atari ST since the mid 80's and 8 bit computers as a kid in the early 80's and i guess i had the Megadrive in 1990 the Gameboy was damn nice with great graphics and sound. We used to collect games on it and had a shelf full each. I remember one great tennis game we used to play over the link cable. Apart from tetris i thought the early games were a blt meh but games like Contra were truly outstanding and were a nice complement to the 16bit consoles in the early 90's. I can't imagine these days hunching over a small handheld in a chair near a window with a blurry screen but back then i loved it.

Remember the glitch where you get 99 rare candys and such when you select it in a 6 item slot. It was so hyped that missingno was a thing. When handle it wrong it would corrupt you save data. But handle it well it was a free cheat for dup items like master balls. XD
