The first century Christians(Jews) were very strict monotheists. Unfortunately, with their passing, and the taking over of the faith by the gentile converts, paganism eventually returned. Since Bible is a very strict monotheistic document, there was no room to have 3 gods. Therefore, in order to resolve the issue of 3 gods, it was decided to have a physical merger of the 3, in order to comply with the Holy Bible.
@ITubeYouK2 жыл бұрын
That is true, early Christians also never worshipped Jesus, they worshipped God alongside the Jews. Modern day "Reformed" Christians still state that Jesus is the Son of God and worship him, taking him as an idol. God begets none and he is not begotten, he has no offspring nor any parents. Did Abraham, Noah, Ishmael, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, etc. worship Jesus alongside God? No, they worshipped the One True God of all mankind whom created the Heavens and the Earth and all that is in between. Jesus was a prophet whom was sent to confirm the message of monotheism. God is absolute and does not change in character, word, or state. He does not require blood sacrifices to satiate or redeem our souls. Our Judgement is within our actions and hands alone, God gave us free will for a reason. We are held responsible for what we did in this life, all the good and bad and will be weighed accordingly on Judgement Day. Surely Jesus will not intercede and say "I wiped their sins away with my blood", this is pagan in nature and disgusting to even consider as a possibility.

Understanding the Biblical view of the Godhead is simple. God is one/one God - Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Mark 12:32, Malachi 2:10, Romans 3:30, 1 Corinthians 8:4, 8:6, Galatians 3:20, Ephesians 4:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, James 2:19. There is no God beside Him - Deuteronomy 4:35, 2 Samuel 7:22, 1 Chronicles 17:20, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:6, 44:8, 45:5-6, 45:21-22, Hosea 13:4. The God is a Spirit - Genesis 1:2, Matthew 10:20, 12:28, John 4:24, Romans 8:9, 8:14, 1 Corinthians 2:10, 3:16, 12:13, 2 Corinthians 3:17, *Ephesians 4:4* God is an invisible Spirit - John 1:18, Colossians 1:15, 1 John 4:12, 4:20, 1 Timothy 1:17, 6:16. God is an omnipresent Spirit (present everywhere) - Isaiah 66:1, Psalm 139:7-10, Jeremiah 23:24. The Father is an everlasting Spirit and cannot die - Psalm 90:1-4, 1 Timothy 1:17, 6:16. So when we think of the Father we should immediately think Spirit. And if there is only one Spirit just as Ephesians 4:4 states, then the Spirit of the Father and the Holy Spirit have to be the same Spirit consisting of more than one title. Since there is only one Spirit of God. Jesus was born of a woman and was, therefore, flesh - Luke 1:35, Matthew 1:18, 1:20, *John 3:6*. The term "Son of God" or "Son of Man" refers to humanity or flesh. The Father (Spirit) is eternal, and therefore cannot die, and the Son (flesh) was able to and did die. This where everything comes together in a beautiful way.. God (Spirit) was in Christ (flesh) - *2 Corinthians 5:19*, To wit, that God (Deity) was in Christ (humanity) reconciling the world unto HIMSELF. Not unto themselves. *Ephesians 4:4* states that there is one body and one Spirit. Just as you have one body and one spirit, God did the same thing. He made Himself a body. I wanna show you John 3:16 in this new light - "For God (deity) so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (humanity) that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16 Whosoever believes in HIM not THEM. Now look at 1st John 3:16 - "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren." Isaiah 9:6, 12:2, 25:9, 43:11, 54:5, John 8:24-27, 10:30, 12:45, 14:6-9. Matthew 28:18-19, 1 John 5:7, Acts 2:38, 4:12, 8:12, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5, 22:16 That's the Biblical Godhead. I took extra time to explain it but it is as simple as 5 Scriptures. 1. Deuteronomy 6:4 - One God. 2. John 4:24 - God is a Spirit. 3. Ephesians 4:4 - One body and one Spirit. 4. 2 Corinthians 5:19 - God in Christ. 5. 1 Timothy 3:16 - God was manifest in flesh.

Jesus lived as a full human being who had to eat, sleep, pray, and everything every other human has to do or else he could not have been a perfect and complete substitute for any other human being. The Trinitarians have 1/3 of God praying to another 1/3 of God, Unitarians have a sort of special human praying to God, whereas the truth is more that the human being that was God as a creature had to live and be just like us who are also creatures.

Firstly Jesus himself said there is ONLY one true God who is the father. Secondly, You and your word are the same, eg a man of your word. Is your word a preexisting person? No. God said death and life is in the tongue. Basically words are life. Gods words created ALL creation, no surprise that his word WAS MADE flesh. He spoke his son into existence. The scripture says he was MADE of a woman MADE under the law. Thirdly, is God MADE, the answer is no. Forthly, Jesus inherited his name from his father. Therefore father and son have the same name, Jesus, which simply means Jehovah salvation. Not only did he inherit his fathers name but his fathers authority also. Jesus said the father that DWELLS IN me he doeth the works. Jesus said as he hears he speaks Therefore the father who dwells in his son said, before Abraham was I AM and the son spoke what he heard from his father. Jesus is the visible body for the invisible father to operate in. Jesus is a unique son. No man has seen God at ANY time. I hope this helps. Stay blessed 🙌

The trinity was never the original faith of the early christians. I always thought it was, but reading some history you can clearly see the development of the doctrine for over 400 years until it took its final form in the Nicean Creed. I believe it was established for political reasons, mainly to seperate the faith from the original jewish faith and make it a completely seperate religion. From my research, the most accurate doctrine that describes both the Old and the New Testaments, is modalism.

One of my major problems with the trinity is freewill and love. Jesus says the Father loves Him and He loves the Father, the requirements for love take separate beings with separate wills to make a choice of will to work for the best of the other. The other is ontology of greatness as we can give all coherent maximally great attributes to God. One attribute of greatness is to have a perfect heir, trained up children and offspring is a virtue and attribute of greatness we can recognize. It is better to have that attribute than to not have it.

Jesus clearly says "not my will but yours" -- so yes, this standard of requirements for love are met. (Other than "requires separate beings" -- why not distinct Persons with their own wills? Seems like circular reasoning to me.)

@@TheGuitarReb That’s two separate beings, your neighbor and yourself. Nobody loves someone that breaks their heart they love the idea of that person that doesn’t break their heart that they have imagined them to be. I will pray for you because you have never had your heart broken by someone that you deeply loved. Jesus deeply loved all of mankind. I very deeply loved my Earthly Father and we shared much physical DNA but I could never be "likewise" and he never broke my heart either. As a male, it would take a female to do that. As Jesus, it would take a religion to break His heart. Thus Jesus & Father are the same just as a married man and a woman become the same with children. We are the children of God! God is Father & Son where in the wife is the Holy Church. The Holy Spirit lives within the Church just as our DNA lives within our physical bodies. True the Son could do nothing of Himself just as I could not have Grandchildren of myself. My wife & I were one person together for 56 years but now I find it very difficult to do ANYTHING on my own! And do not say, “Three”; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. [4:172] Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah , nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together. [5:17] They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is the Christ , the son of Mary. Say, “Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy the Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?” And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. [5:46] And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous

Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen" Surat al maaida (the table), verse116

QURAN is garbage because QURAN says trinity is Jesus, God and Mary which was completely bonkers because at no point in history these 3 ever were trinity. Besides, Quranic embryology is stolen from GreeK School of Medicine of 7th century which modern science shows is wrong. Then Muhammad said sun sets in the muddy waters, which again if ALLAH was revealing him, ALLAH is just like Muhhamad who was on earth seeing sun setting in the water. Same with QURAN saying the sun orbits around the earth again it cannot be GOD but Muhammad who was 7th century nomad who had no idea about planetary science. ALLAH is a fig of imagination of Muhammad. I can throw more absurdities, its full of error plagiarized from sources older than Muhammad. Muhammad was also racist because he had black slaves and the Hadith depicts Muhammad as whitest and hated his black slaves so much for muslims to become the saviour of black people.

@@Antislm Hey, friendly neighborhood Muslim here & long-term polemist. Honestly, what is the point of making a point which runs contrary to Islamic theology? it's so disingenuous to use anti-muslim websites when this has been refuted ad-nauseum. 1) Quran does not say Jesus, God and Mary 'are a trinity' - not in the slightest, go read the tafsir. “And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?'" He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say)” If you had read the commentary of tafsir on this along with the countless refutations by literally every single Muslim scholar it would be clear as day. The surah refers to those who worshiped Jesus (believing him to be a God) and also venerated and worshipped Mary as the mother of God (Early Catholics and even many till today pray to her for intercession and have statues of her) read this: www.catholic.com/magazine/print-edition/collyridianism 2) There is no 'Quranic Embryology' - there are verses to reflect on something so simple (creation) it's purely allegorical and nothing more. The error that some had decided to try to interpret the words in the verse to extract 'scientific meanings' is a false premise. Read the verse again and you'll realize there's no scientific declaration whatsoever. 3) Sun muddy waters. Dear God how people get fooled. I still can't believe you're quoting from these websites as if these are facts. The verse you are referring to recounts a story {Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he >>found it

Who is Allah? If we ask Muslims who Allah is, they will say that God is the Creator, the AllKnowing. Their answer is not that much different from the answers that we will get from everyone else about their god, but when it comes to Allah as god, there are a lot of problems, and we will go over them. Before we can understand the person of Allah, we need to understand his name first. Muslims try to make us believe that Allah is the same as the God of Christianity and of Moses. They even try to convince us that Allah is an Aramaic word and that Jesus used it when he spoke in Aramaic. How true is this claim? When the movie “The Passion of the Christ” came out some years ago, Muslims took clips from the movie in which Jesus spoke Aramaic saying the name of God. They then used those clips to create their own videos to prove their claim that the name Allah, is indeed Aramaic. The Aramaic word they were trying to adopt is Elah, El not Al like Allah. Here’s a quick and easy study in Qur'an 4:125: اليِلَخَميِهاَرْبِإ ُهَللّٱَُذَخَّتٱَواافيِنَحَميِهََٰرْبِإَةَّلِمَعَبَّتاوٌنِسْحُمَوُهَو للُُّهَهْجَوَمَلْسَأْنَّمِماانيِدُنَسْحَأْنَمَو In Qur’an 4:125, there are two words for Allah, but they do not mean the same. If you don’t know Arabic, you will not notice much difference between the two words except one letter, but actually their difference is much more than that. The first one isللّ (lillah) and the second one isُهَللّٱ (Allah). In Arabic, al means the, so if we take Al away from Allah and lil away from lillah, that leaves us with lah (god), a word that is common to both names. In fact, lah was the name for the moon-god, the main Egyptian god and a god being worshiped by the Arabs. In English, lillah translates to to god and Allah translates to the god. Lil Lah = للّ Al Lah = ُهَللّٱ As you can see from the preceding illustration, although lillah and Allah are each written as one word in Arabic, lil and Al are not part of the word lah, itself-that is, lillah and Allah are each made up of two words. Again, lillah is to god and allah is the god. In Arabic, al is always equal to “the” and it is attached to names which are attributed to god only. This is why all the 99 names of Allah start with Al or The. Take note however, that The is not part of the name. It is just a device used to indicate that the name is unique to god--only god can be given this distinction. For example, we cannot say “The Muhammad”, because Muhammad is just a name for a person. It is interesting to note the Messiah is called AlMaseeh in the Qur’an. It means he is the only Messiah in the whole world. He is the only man in the Qur’an who has Al or The attached to his name. Who is Lah? It’s the moon god, but how Lah can be the moon god if Quran forbids worshiping the moon and the sun?

@@Antislm I'm guessing you just decided to ignore completely the comment i shared with you where i took the time to explain why copy-pasting from anti-muslim websites was unbelievably stupid, and yet you continue. I'm half arabic. I read the arabic very well. The explanation the website you quoted from gives 'lilah' is so stupid, that i wish you could go and learn arabic just to realize how incredibly insane that example they provided was. Lilah in Arabic (li-lah) (li meaning 'except') and (lah) which is the connected root (Allah when using in a conjoining sentence) which is how Arabic words are joined in cases of verbs, nouns etc. In this case lilah is understood quite clearly by any 4 year old arabic reader when looking at the full passage which reads and i transliterate: "La Illaha, il lilah" (There is no God, except 'The God') is the exact translation. @@samwats7892 Mohammed owned black slaves Mohammed owned several black slaves. Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya relies heavily on the prophet's biographies written by great ancient scholars. Therefore, he is regarded by Muslims as an authority, a primary source, and a leader among the students of the Islamic religion. This scholar tells us in his book, "Zad al-Ma'ad" (part 1, pp. 114-116), the following: "These are the names of Muhammad's male slaves: Yakan Abu Sharh, Aflah, 'Ubayd, Dhakwan, Tahman, Mirwan, Hunayn, Sanad, Fadala Yamamin, Anjasha al-Hadi, Mad'am, Karkara, Abu Rafi', Thawban, Ab Kabsha, Salih, Rabah, Yara Nubyan, Fadila, Waqid, Mabur, Abu Waqid, Kasam, Abu' Ayb, Abu Muwayhiba, Zayd Ibn Haritha, and also a black slave called Mahran." Even in modern times, in Saudi Arabia, the homeland of Islam, the common word for "Black" is "Abd" meaning slave. What was Mohammed's position on freeing the slaves? In one instance, a man freed a slave that he kept as a sexual partner. When Mohammed heard what happened, he auctioned the boy and sold him for 800 dirhams to Na-eem Ebn Abdullah Al- Nahham. (Sahih Moslem vol. 7, page 83) According to Mohammed, the punishment for committing adultery is different between a free man, a free woman, and a slave-woman. The man is to be flogged one-hundred stripes and be exiled for one year. The free woman must be stoned to death. But the slave-woman (since she has a monetary value) will not be exiled or killed, she is to be flogged one-hundred stripes. If the violation is repeated, the slave-woman is to be sold. (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 8:821 & 822) Islam looked down on blacks Islam is a religion, whose sacred scriptures contain explicit denigrating remarks about Black people. Mohammed referred to Blacks as "raisin heads". (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256). In another Hadith, Mohammed is quoted as saying that Blacks are, "pug-nosed slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9 pages 46 and 47). Islam is not the haven of freedom and equality

@@BestChristianWorshipSongs7 Hey brother, I just read your comment below. First of all, let me tell you I absolutely agree with you when you say at the end that it doesn’t really matter what your theology is as long as you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead. That’s what the bible says. And I’ll add that someone very close to me, at a time when all of this theology differences was really confusing her and even blocking her in her faith, even though she had her own strong opinion, had a dream where Jesus confirmed this. “ You don’t need to know” he simply said. And she was liberated after that and could live her faith without regarding how the Christian next to her believed about this. However, I do believe that getting to the truth is absolutely important because it does affects our faith and most of all, evangelism. The trinity has made a lot of dammage for nearly 1500 years... Now, about your comment, well, with respect, I find it not at all convincing. All of what you said can be explained and answered. So let me indeed show you how I can prove, again by trinitarian logic, that Moses is God (see my other comments in this thread). However I will say this about the 3 points that you mentioned: 1/ Did you know that the word “worship” that you can find about Jesus in the NT is a choice of translation. In fact, the word that is used in the greek (proskuneó) most often means bowing down, getting on your knees. So yes, you have indeed people bowing down to Jesus. Well, so it was for the kings of Israel. Especially David. And if people could bow down before David, how much more it will be the case for the Messiah, the Son of God, exalted by God at the highest position ? And everything else (2 and 3) was also accomplished by the apostles...

Now, imitating that, if I want to prove that Moses is God, I can use pretty much the same arguments. Here’s how: (see next comment)

Ok now because the jews dared not name yahweh as yahweh they just called him god or in other words the divine. As the jews only have one god there was no confusion as to who was being referred to. If you said to a hindu or ancient greek or roman i worship god their immediate response would be which one. So the father is divine jesus is divine. Jesus said we are divine. We can all be named divine/god but i am not jesus or yahweh. Yahweh is not jesus or me . Jesus is not me or yahweh though all by scripture called god/divine. I hope this is helpful.

I understand the trinity. All three father son and the holy spirit have been together before creation. It's not hard to understand the trinity if you dont think in the flesh. God created a part of himself to be with him from the very beginning. Jesus is not like a angel Jesus is a part of God. God didnt have to plant a seed in heaven for Jesus to be. He just separated a part of himself. When jesus came to earth he came threw a woman. This is so he could live the human life. People are thinking in the flesh when you say they cant be the same. Jesus is part of God. So is the holy spirit. Even the holy spirit can separate into every living person on earth. Jesus was that word that spoke during creating. Even if you say in the beginning was the word and the word was with God it makes no difference. Listen to the rest. And the word was God. Even the scripture tells us that God became flesh and drelt among us. His name was Emanuel God with us not god with us. Jesus as God isnt spelled with a little g only Angel's and the saved. If the blood of God runs threw his veins I'm sorry he is God. Blood comes from ther father not the mother. Only Gods blood was pure enough to save all. Jesus said he was God, and iAm and the father. Jesus was in heaven forever and will always be. If you say jesus is a god little g you have reduce him to an Angel. Then you would be the one in the wrong. On this we will just have to agree to disagree. Jesus didnt say they where one and if you seen me you seen the father for no reason.

God created us after His own image and likeness. That divine power and love image got destroyed in the fall of man. That is why there is all this confusion, sicknesses, selfishness, strange philosophies, death etc. So mankind fell and has a huge debt. As you well know Leviticus concludes: There is no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of innocent blood. Now God enters the scene. Because of amazing love He stooped down frim glory manifesting in Christ to show life as He intended it to be: walking in divine power and love. Healing all, casting out demons, raising the dead, controlling nature. As being the manifestation of God in human form, His soul is flawless. And as you know as Leviticus says: the soul is in the blood. Ultimately, because of love for His creation, He brought the most extreme perfect love-sacrifice: martyred beyond description, dying on a cross to pay of mankinds debt for the fall of man. As written He was raised to life again for mankind's justification. Now the blood of goats covers sin. Imagine what the holy blood of Jesus does on your behalf... it makes you a dwelling place for the all powerfull Holy Spirit of God again. The Holy Spirit of God in you gives revelation, changes you in to the same unselfish divine power and love creation as Christ. So the Gospel is a restoration of Gen 1:27 where God says: "Let us make man in our image and likeness and let them have authority". Walking Christlike, for He is the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to. "I have come to give you Zoë = divine life in abundance. If you see Me you see the Father. The Father and I are one. Freely I give you My Kingdom. I will send Holy Spirit, He will be IN you and guide you into truth and give you explosive power. Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, freely I have given you, freely share". If you look at the lives of His first 12 + 72 friends.... they walked like Jesus. Casting out demons, and healing the sick, caring for all. Explaining this God given resolution for mankind's fall. Exactly what i and lots of other Christians experience. Gods tangible presence, demons running for cover, sick that get healed, etc, etc. So Allah/God came full circle. He has given us back the divine life Adam lost in his fall. Muhammed never understood this nor walked in this unselfish divine power and love freely avaible through Gods passion. So, he made up another story leading millions away from the finished work of God and their divine destiny in God for this life. Very heartbreaking. Www.anewcreationinchrist.nl/english Bless

John 14:16-17 And I Jesus Christ will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; which is the Holy Spirit whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but those who have been born again; Baptism by immersion which is also being born again as per Acts 2:38 and John 3:3 know him; for he dwelleth with you, as your body is the temple for the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit shall be in you. It is also written in John 3:3 John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; and to believe otherwise is to call God a liar.

The King James version includes the following words in 1 John 5:7, 8: “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth.” This controversial clause is called the “Johannine Comma” by biblical scholars and textual critics. Scholars agree that these words were not originally in the Bible but were added much later by a scribe to support the Trinity doctrine. That’s why most modern Bible translations do not include them. Biblical scholar and professor Bruce M. Metzger wrote the following about 1 John 5:7, 8: “That these words are spurious and have no right to stand in the New Testament is certain.”-A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament. The Catholic Jerusalem Bible has a footnote that says: “The words in italics [in heaven: the Father the Word and the Spirit, and these three are one; and there are three witnesses on earth:] (not in any of the early Greek MSS, or any of the early translations, or in the best MSS of the Vulgate itself) are probably a gloss that has crept into the text.” The New International Version has this footnote: “Late manuscripts of the Vulgate ‘testify in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one.’ 8 ‘And there are three that testify on earth: the’ (not found in any Greek manuscript before the fourteenth century)”

Fun fact, Jesus is not the only son of God. In Exodus, the nation of Israel is called God's firstborn son. In Psalms, David is called "son of God", even commanded to proclaim that he is God's "begotten son" on the day he was made king. Solomon is also called "son of God". Angels, just and pious men, and the kings of Israel are all called "sons of God." I know, it's confusing.

I can tell you guys don't read the bible. Luke 4:9-12 Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you, and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.And Jesus answered and said to him, "It has been said, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.' " READ THE LAST SENTENCE WHAT JESUS SAID. "You shall not tempt the Lord your God", clearly The Father here wasn't tempted but Jesus who is the Son. He called himself God. Jesus also says he is the Great I AM who was before Abraham. John 10:33. "We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." Before this verse Jesus says "I and The Father are one" and that someone were asking if he is the Messiah, clearly the Jews understood very well Jesus is claiming to be God. In Genesis, God says "Let Us make man in Our Image" did you read that word "US" meaning plural. The Bible says God paid the price with His Blood, clearly the shed Blood was from Jesus. When Jesus resurrected and Thomas didn't believe but then saw Jesus and said "My Lord and My God", Thomas is calling Jesus God and Jesus isn't telling him not to, this verse also shows Jesus receives worship and only God alone can be worshipped so that means Jesus is God. Someone in the comments said "by trinitarian logic, I could show Moses is God", OK go ahead let's see you try but now let me try and see if any descriptions of God fit Moses, 1. Receiving Worship 2. Forgiving Sins 3. Healing the sick, blind, resurrecting the dead, there are more than those but let's go by those alone- Does Moses fit those 3 descriptions? No! Does Jesus fit those? Yes! Is Jesus God? Based on just this short amount of evidence yes you can conclude Jesus is God. I do believe the trinity is true as clearly the bible shows Jesus is God but is not the Father. I personally think it doesn't matter if you believe the trinity or oneness or just Jesus as Son of God because the Bible says all you have to do is have faith in Jesus as the Son of God who came to die for your sins and the sins of the world, and that he resurrected on the third fulfilling prophecy so that you can place your faith in him alone!

I agree in all the scriptures you provided here. In a little different way I see the Father and his son. Due to sin in the garden a mediator was needed from the time Eve and Adam sinned. Just one sin would separate you from Father. I see Jesus as the one making skin covering for both of them thus sacrifices were already established to cover sins. We find many instances where it seems two are working Father and Son. Like in Genesis when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed you read that the lord called and rained brimstone from the lord in the sky. This was something not foreign to ancient Hebrews so I tend to believe what I read in the scriptures. In truth even the word ( one ) in Hebrew means more in agreement one thought in unity. Adam and Eve were (Echad) or one so what's the problem . Elohim also is plural. The Battle God fought was and has always been about man getting between his people and him. Judaisms oneness seems to be pushed to discredit the existence of Jesus. That's how many fall into denying him if the believe in the Oneness. They end up convinced that if he was God ( The Father) that it's impossible because God can not die... and they are correct in that thinking and thus reject Jesus. BUT if Jesus was the literal Son of God the mediator through out the scriptures and came as the angel of the lord and came down and took on flesh as the Father instructed to do his will then he could do it. And it connects all scriptures in my mind.

Why don't they say "nor the Holy Spirit" or "but only the Holy Spirit and the Father"? You would almost think that maybe - just maybe - the holy spirit is actually not a person and not part of a trinity.
@annmyann4374 жыл бұрын
No. Angels are ministering spirits. Angels are not to be worshipped in any way shape or form. Jesus is God's Word made flesh. It is written in John 1 Vs. 1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1 Vs 10, " He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. " John 1 Vs 14, " And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. " There is a trinity. There is no direct reference to the word trinity, in the Holy Bible. However, it is written, in 1 John 5 Vs. 7, "For there are three that bear a record(witness) in Heaven, the Father(God Almighty), the Word(Christ Jesus, His beloved son), and the Holy Spirit(our Helper): and these three are one. " This is where the idea of the Holy Trinity, comes from. So, it is not wrong to refer to all three as the Holy Trinity. Amen? Amen!

@Jianju also, Jesus Himself said to His apostles to go and baptise every nation and all people in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 1. Why did He use the word 'name' and not names if they are 3 different things/persons/beings? 2. Why baptise people in the name of the Son and Holy Spirit if they are not God. Isn't it enough to baptise in the name of the Father (Yahweh or Jehovah). Why put creature's next to God? And if it is out of respect for their position, why not include all the prophets, saints and angels?! Then we have some parts in the Bible (old and new testament) where we read that the angels in heaven praise God and sing; Holy, holy, holy is the Lord. 3x times holy?? Why 3 times?! Does it just sound cool or is there a deeper understanding to it?! And I can go on and on and on, but I won't. Nobody Isn't even considering how the Bible is compiled or by who. I would advise everyone first to read the Church history and the Church Father's of first 4 centuries before making a conclusion and then you will have a better understanding and knowledge that the Trinity isn't invented, but simply the truth.

@@annmyann437 1 John 5: 7 is also known as the Johannine Comma, and it doesn't appear in ANY manuscripts older than 600 AD. And even then it only appears in manuscripts in France, then over the next 300 years it spreads out to be found in other manuscripts. Which means it was added into the Bible. John 1: 1 ....due to Colwell's Rule, in Greek, a definite predicate nominative never has an article when it precedes the verb, such as what happens when it says, (in your translation) "and the Word was God." Which means that the only way to determine if it is "a God" or "a godlike quality" or "(the) God" depends entirely on the context of the passage. The Catholic Biblical Quarterly Volume 13 Number 4, of October 1951, titled, "Jehovah's Witnesses Translate The New Testament" by John F. Mattingly, admits that this means "grammar alone cannot prove how the predicate in this verse should be translated, whether 'God' or 'a god'." However, Coptic has a grammar structure that does allow the grammar to settle this matter at John 1:1. And what does it say? The Sahidic Coptic text uses an indefinite article with the word "god" in the final part of John 1: 1, thus in English, "and the Word was a god."

2:47 - history… needs to consider Benjamin D Sommer’s work. For a brief intro, watch Inspiring Philosophy’s video, “The Trinity in Ancient Jewish Books” 4:45, 5:20 - Mark 12:28-34 5:28 - This argument seems to place heavy emphasis on Jewish beliefs, not sure how far you can go with this. Most of the Jews didn’t believe that the scripture points to Jesus as the Messiah either. Even though many of them didn’t see Jesus in the Old Testament, it’s clear to us now that He was always there. Based on Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 2:24, we can see that the concept of compound unity was always there. It seems clear to me that not everything was understood in the Old Testament at the time, but the New Testament sheds light with complete revelation. When Jesus cited scripture, not everybody was going to understand it the same way as He did. So overall, I don’t find this point very convincing. Food for thought, consider Jesus’ words in Revelation 1:17-18, then go back to the divine-exclusive statement in Isaiah 44:6. I don’t know a satisfying way to harmonize Revelation 1:17 and Isaiah 44:6 without saying that Jesus is God. 8:15 - looking for an explicit explanation in scripture… Like Marcus Rogers said, the Bible is like a puzzle. The whole of scripture needs to be considered. As for isolated passages, Matthew 28:19 is pretty strong evidence of one consisting of plurality. And Titus 3:4-6 (paired with Psalm 62:2) needs to be considered. Scripture plainly tells us that salvation comes from God alone (Psalm 62:2), yet both God and Jesus are called “savior” - with the Holy Spirit in the middle, dealing with renewal. That’s a tight text-pairing showing that three are involved in salvation, and that salvation only comes from one. The Trinity reconciles Psalm 62:2 and Titus 3:4-6 very well. 15:25 - seems like an argument from silence 20:57 - councils 25:00, 25:50 - singular personal pronouns… what we would expect to see in a trinitarian framework; it’s not polytheism. Matthew 28:19’s singular use of “name” is especially interesting here. 29:50, 32:10, 32:31, 32:50, 33:23 - Jesus and knowledge, Mark 13:32. Now this is *the* challenge-passage for the Trinity doctrine. I can see the two-nature view to an extent, but a more interesting explanation comes from InspiringPhilosophy’s video titled, “Why Didn’t Jesus & the Holy Spirit Know the Hour?” Basically, there’s a historical, cultural case to be made that Mark 13:32 is a statement of submission rather than a literal lack of knowledge. 34:32 - I appreciate this guy recognizing that misunderstanding.

CASE IN POINT: Five major problems?? LOL it's a total LIE problem. Are you alluding the trinity is correct but it has 5 major problems??? lol The trinity doctrine was invented by the team that the emperor of Rome , Constantine the Great , who summoned Graeco-Roman philosophers and theologians to formulate a philosophical doctrine to confuse those who were not educated and keep the nobles submissive to his authority as a Roman church. The trinity concept came from Plato's teachings about existential or his ontological theory regarding the nature and existence of the messiah and the Patheon Roman gods concept...which is also known as Pantheism. . Then, the church adopted the concept and applied it to the Abrahamic faith inserting their paganism in it. The so called church even tampered the Scriptures to support their philosophical position which also embraced the Roman old religion called Mithraism and Gnosticism. Later, these two religions were replaced by the new religion which in modern day is known as "Christianity." the Roman church even tampered the Holy Scriptures to call the followers of the Hebrew Messiah 'Christians" where in the Hebrew Bible called them "Messianic Jews" or Nazarenes. This is a historical fact. There was no such a thing as a word as christians' . I am a Sephardic Jew, that's why my people never believed in any Jesus or trinity doctrine because we knew that the Romans created a conspiracy to use our FAITH to control the world. I believe in my Hebrew Messiah but not according to Christianity.

That’s a very good verse, but to whom God is referring is not made clear within it. Only by placing Jesus backwards into the verse to we arrive at Jesus being who God is talking to. Basically, we must already assume that God is talking to the others in the Godhead in order to see the Godhead in the verse. We know this to be the case because the verse is much older than Christianity and has been interpreted beforehand. Jews have interpreted it as God speaking to the Angels, to Wisdom, or to himself using some form of ‘royal we’. In none of these much older interpretations on the verse do we see anything that could be construed as a plurality of equals or a Trinity. Further, none of them place a new character backwards into the equation but simply suppose God is talking to one of a handful of recognized concepts.

False. The Jews were not unitarians. In Exo 23v20-26 Yahuwah gave the children of Israel the Angel to worship. He even refers to the Angel in the third person as Yahuwah. The angel that had the name of Yahuwah in Him is the one that dwelt in the temple while his master was in heaven. When the children of Israel stood before Yahuwah in the temple they where standing before the Angel. When they gave sacrifices in the temple they where offering them to the Angel. When Daniel prayed in the direction of the temple he was were praying to the Angel. Yet their prayers are heard in heaven above (1 kings 8). That means that Jewish monotheistic worship involved at least two people. They called this "two powers in heaven" . Unitarians need to stop assuming that history sides with them without reading it. Worship of the Angel was essential to torah observance. There was no worship to YHWH without worshiping the Angel, NEVER. In Gen 48v15-16 Jacob prays to the Angel. The Jews rejected the Angel when they rejected Christ. Look at all their prayer books. They do not pray to the Angel like Jacob did and Moses instructed.

The trinity is idolatry. How to get born again/saved: Romans 10:9-10 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. It does not say God raised God or Jesus raised Jesus, it says God raised Jesus from the dead. God was alive, Jesus was dead and his Jesus father, God, raised his son from the dead. From death unto life and two separate individuals, not 3in1 Roman Catholic construct.

Look at john 1, the word was in the beginning, the word was God, the word was with God and everything was created through the word and for the word. The word became flesh. That word is Jesus and everything was made through him which makes him a creator, eternal and the judge therefore he is God. Read John 1 and read the prologues of the Gospels as those dictate who Jesus is and what he does
@truthbetold71703 жыл бұрын
@@thereawakening9475 That's the problem, Trinitarian teachers want you to hyper focus on the First verse of The Book of John without reading the whole context of The Book. When you understand the book as a whole and don't just focus on what you are told to focus on you will see the truth. Now as far as the beginning goes let us think of the beginning as Jesus and his ministry; the whole complex of Jesus life is the beginning. For example at Colossians 1:18 “He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead.” And at Revelation 3:14 “These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God.” Let’s think of Jesus as a witness to God’s word. He is the beginning of the creation of God. What beginning? The new Beginning, the new creation. That is the creation John is talking about the new heavens and the new earth that come down. Now think of it this way. If Christ was the beginning we could say. In [Christ] was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. So the word of the Father was in Christ. That makes sense, doesn’t it? And look at what Jesus says at John 14:10 and 24 “[10]The words that I say to you I do not speak from myself but the Father abiding in me does the works… and then he goes on to say, [24]the Word you hear is not mine but his who sent me (Ref. Galatians 4:4). The Father’s Word was in him, so if we read John 1:1 this way it actually makes sense. It also says at John 1:1 “the Word was God.” Listen to what Jesus said; “[10]The words that I say to you I do not speak from myself but the Father abiding in me does the works... [24]the Word you hear is not mine but his who sent me. The Father was abiding in Jesus. So if the Father abiding in Jesus is the Word we can see how all that fits together. So if we read John 1:1 this way it really does make sense. The Father’s Word was the Father; the expression of the Father himself. In [Christ] was the Father’s Word and the Father’s Word was pros The Father and the Father’s Word was the Father. The Father abiding in him does the works. The Father Abiding in him is the expression of he himself The Word became flesh… No one has seen God but the only begotten in the bosom of the Father, he declares/expresses him. John 1:18. Now lets seen what Jesus says at John 14:9-10, He who has seen me has seen the Father… The words that I say to you I do not speak from myself but the Father abiding in me does the works. How had they seen the Father? In the works that Jesus was doing. See no one has seen God, the only begotten expresses him and that’s what was happening at John 14:9-10. The Father was being expressed in the words Jesus was speaking and the works that he was doing, In this way, the disciples had seen the Father. And that is exactly what John means when he said the Word became flesh. The Fathers Word became flesh in the sense that Jesus was doing the Word, he was fulfilling the Word of the Father, he was the embodiment of the Word. Jesus declares and expresses the Father, this is why he says the Father abiding in me does the works. The Father is expressing himself through Jesus.

As you well know, to even question "the Trinity" is like lighting a fuse. Someone's bound to explode with anger and accusations. But . . . being mortal as we are, we don't "get" what it's like to be spirit and are poorly qualified to explain spiritual things. *But we can find plenty of trinity non-evidence in the Bible.* ▬ Most New Testament letters have opening statements such as "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." All these opening statements *_include both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ_* but all of them *_leave out the holy spirit._* None of the introductions mention or include or address the holy spirit as a person. I believe this is good evidence the apostles did not believe the holy spirit was a "third person." ▬ John 14:23 sheds more light on the topic. Here Jesus explains that both the Father and He (referring to Jesus himself) would come and dwell in us. *They - the two - would make their "abode" in us:* ⚫ "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23) (No mention of the holy spirit as a third person.) ▬ In 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 we find a similar statement: the Father - "the Lord Almighty" - will dwell in us and walk in us: ⚫ "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:16-18) ▬ God is a spirit (John 4:24) and is holy. When God dwells in us, we have the holy spirit dwelling in us. We are His "temple." ▬ We see God as "us" back in Genesis: ⚫ "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." (Gen 1:26) ⚫ "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" (Gen 3:22). ▬ Who is the "us"? It is the Father, and the "Word": who was with God from the beginning . . . And was God . . . and was made flesh: ⚫ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3) ⚫ "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) (No mention of the holy spirit as a third person.) ▬ Jesus said: ⚫ "I and my Father are one." (John 10:30) (No mention of the holy spirit as a third person.) ⚫ "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Cor 8:6) (No mention of the holy spirit as a person.) ▬ Although the Father and Jesus are "one," they seemingly can have separate identity or person: ⚫ "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17:5) (No mention of the holy spirit as a person.) ▬ 1 John 5:7-8 has a reputation as questionable in origin. Look up the "Johanine comma" ("comma" referring to a phrase) to get the detail on that. 1 John 5:7-8 is apparently not found in the majority of early Greek texts, but appears in many later Latin texts . . . ▬ Matthew 28:19 is also questionable: ⚫ "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost It is questionable because what the apostles *DID* was baptize in Jesus' name only: ⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38) ⚫ "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)" (Acts 8:16) ⚫ "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10:48) ⚫ "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 19:5) ⚫ "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" (Romans 6:3)

6:45 Also, the author, Mark, would have included a side note to explain why Jesus did not talk to them about the Trinity. He would write "for they knew not of the Trinity at this time." 15:40 This is the one that broke it wide open for me. And God is not the author of confusion. 19:00 Also notice the in AD398 no Jewish Christians were part of this Religion that Rome was creating. The Jews were completely ignored after AD312. (I don't know the dates, but you know what I am saying.) NOTE: Also, realize that it is not a requirement of Salvation to believe in a Trinity therefore there is no cause for us to believe in a Trinity even if it were true. Also, therefore, since believing in more than One God is a sin, it behooves us to NOT believe in a Trinity at all. My 5 Things to Ask: 1. Is belief in Trinity a requirement of Salvation? 2. How did the Jews 2000 years ago readily accept a Trinity? 3. Why can't anyone even today explain the Trinity properly? 4. Is God the author of confusion? 5. If idolatry is a sin, is it more dangerous to believe in a Trinity than to believe in the One True God, or strictly what Scripture tells us rather than man-made doctrines on the Trinity?
@jeffreytrinidad35644 ай бұрын
1) Yes. Because only the Trinitarian Jesus is capable of saving you. Jesus only a Man or only the Human Nature of Yahweh or even as an angel is not enough to save you. Redemption should be of equal value or more. The Jesus that is only a Man or only Human Nature of Yahweh or even an angel is not Eternal God capable of redeeming all of mankind's sins from all eternity. 2) The Jews during Jesus' time believed in 1 True God whom they called Yahweh and Father. They believed that this Yahweh is a UNITED God; they just don't know exactly how Yahweh is united. Some Jews believed that Yahweh is UNITED in His attributes and some Jewish Mystics believed that Yahweh is UNITED with Creation or the Universe itself. When Jesus came into the picture; he prayed for his Jewish Disciples for them to know the Only True God (John 17:3), to give them clarity on how is Yahweh UNITED. 3) God is an Infinite Being, we are Finite Beings. God is outside of Creation, we are part of Creation. God is not bound by the laws of creation but we are. Trinity is God's revelation on who and what He is. An Infinite Being revealing Himself in the bible would be hard for us to understand having our finite minds and logic but it does not make it untrue. The bible is clear that: The Father is God The Son is God The Holy Spirit is God They are not 3 Gods but 1 God The Father is not the Son The Son is not the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is not the Father 1 INFINITE BEING 3 DISTINCT PERSONS Now, if we used our Finite minds and thinking; we would arrive with 3 Gods because we operate on our finite laws and subject to it but God is not. This is what we would call CONCEPT OF INFINITY vs CONCEPT OF THE FINITE. Let me give you the best analogy: If a Man living in a 3 Dimensional World try to explain Height or Depth to a Man living in a 2 Dimensional World; this would not make sense to him. Well, just because he does not understand nor does it make sense to him DOES NOT MEAN THE REVELATION TO BE INVALID OR UNTRUE. 4) No. Trinity is logical, sound and true; it's just beyond comprehension. 5) Trinitarians believed in ONE TRUE GOD. Trinity is a doctrine derived from the bible; it is not man-made.

I think belief must be based on scripture. I also am tempted to believe certain stuff, but I kinda hold it back, especially if it's totally assumption from my side or by random people... I think we should think about what "divinity" really means, i think when we talk about God, we talk about the supreme authority over the rest, the Father, the originator... I think the originator is before Abraham but also before "the son" to speak in Christian terminology. This also bearing in mind that the authors of the 4 Gospels are annonymous, and some argue probably Pauline Christians... And Paul had major differences of opinion with actual disciples who Jesus pbuh taught personally.... God knows best the truth. I think Jesus pbuh probably pre-exists the coming of Abraham to the world. Idk, but we all do spiritually because before coming here we were in some other place... I say this based on the Quran, and I suspect also in older scripture it may say this... We must for sure study more, to have our beliefs grounded... also to follow the law, this is quite clear, Jesus pbuh didn't come to take the law out at all... And the law is as important as the heart and character... Peace be with you.

@@ProphetMusaMeizon : The KJV tries to make Jesus God. If we take the KJV's translation of John 1:18 it reads as: 'No man has SEEN God at ANY TIME. Jesus who is God, and whom people have SEEN is explaining God whom people have NEVER SEEN.' Doesn't come even close to making any sense. Here is the actual translation of the Greek. The Greek Interlinear is on the Web. Check it out. John 1:18 No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him. This clearly states that since no human can ever see God, Jesus who was sent by God and who knows who God is, explained God to humans. No human can see God. Neither will humans ever see Jesus again (1 Timothy 6:16). His assignment is over. He is back to being an angelic son of God. Humans do not go to live anywhere outside this earth. God's purpose is for humans to live on earth. Psalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Jesus reiterated this at Matthew 5:5. See also Revelation 21:3,4. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth_ If you're a real Christian who doesn't use the tragicomedical New World Translation of the Bible, the identity of this Word of God who became flesh and dwelt amongst us ought to be pretty clear. So if we're all agreed that God is divine, wouldn't it stand to reason that *_everything_* about Him, including His Word would also be divine? And if God is uncreated, wouldn't it be factual to say that His Word is also uncreated? If God is worthy of obedience, then wouldn't His Word also be worthy of obedience? Now, why would the Word of God suddenly lose all of His Divine attributes, simply because 2000 years ago, He took on human form and dwelt amongst mortal men?

He loved them so much that he healed them, raised some from the dead, fed them, and finally died and was resurected for them. If the Trinity doctrine was the truth of God and he himself was the same essence as God he would have clearly and plainly taught it. Especially since every Trinitarian from the doctrines inception claims you will die and lose your soul if you do not believe it. I myself find it impossible for Jesus the annointed of God, the savior of the world, the one who brings the complete revalation God and of the salvation of God to never ever touch on or even allude the most important truth of Christendom since Nicea: The Trinity. @@watchmen-nehemiah4v20 If you could show me in scripture where Jesus has no begining nor end it would help me alot. If you are referring to KJV Micah 5:2 where it says "his goings forth are from everlasting" understand 2 things first, the Hebrew word here for goings forth means his origins or starting place and the word for everlasting simply means antiquity or from long ago ( not eternity) we can thank our Trinitarian translaters for that. Also if you continue reading just 2 verse further in Micah 5 it says " he shall stand and feed in the strength of Yaweh, in the majesty of the name of Yaweh his God". Pretty clear this messiah is not Yaweh. Why does it say that his goings forth are from antiquity? I believe because he was always with God in concept as the Logos just as we were chosen from the foundation of the world. Just like He knew Jeremiah before he was born. Jesus was alive through the word of the prophets and was even spoken of by God in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:15) There is a reason why Mathew goes through the genealogy of Jesus in Mathew 1. Actually if you look the word genealogy here is a bad translation. The word in the greek is geneseos and it means origins, birth, lineage or descent. Mathew takes painstaking efforts to show Jesus is fully human and his origin in right there in a young virgin.

Wcll-praised by sages he hath by his wondrous power assumed the Threefold as his robe.” (Rig Veda 9:108:12). Agni am I who know, by birth, all creatures. Mine eye is butter, in my mouth is nectar. @@zilchnilton How can you watch that video and come out believing the Trinity is pagan (as your original comment claimed)? There is no historical source within paganism claiming that they believed in triune gods. Some of them believed in one god that takes three forms. That is what you seem to believe, which would mean your belief is the pagan one... The Trinity is simply three eternal persons within one eternal Being, God. It's not three gods, it's not illogical. It's clearly what the Bible teaches based upon the plurality of God in the Bible. In terms of how Jesus can be begotten if He's eternal, watch InspiringPhilosophy's videos about responding to objections to the Trinity. I don't remember the exact response he gave, but I do remember that he did mention it. If I were to just take a guess, it could mean that He was begotten in the sense that He got a human body. His human body was begotten. It could also be symbolic and not literal. As in they have a relationship as if Jesus was the Father's only begotten Son. Your next question about where the Spirit is seated, I don't see how that's even a serious objection? Anyway, to answer it, He's seated in Christians, if I remember correctly. Christians are the spiritual temple of God where He is seated. However, that raises a question, where was He seated before the creation? I don't know, perhaps in the Father and Son. Also, God didn't even have a throne before the creation unless the throne is part of Him since a throne would otherwise need to be created. This means that having a throne as an object is irrelevant, therefore it doesn't matter whether the Holy Spirit has a throne, or has had a throne, or where it's located if He has one. Furthermore, a multi-personal God is better. We are limited in love, God has infinite love. In this same way, we are uni-personal, He is multi-personal. This argument I heard in one of InspiringPhilosophy's videos and it makes a lot of sense. Also, if God is unitarian, who did He love before the creation since He is infinite love? Himself? His own one person? Doesn't make as much sense compared to Him being multi-personal and them loving each other and having relationships. In other words, a triune God is ontologically better than a unitarian God, therefore the triune God is real and not the unitarian since God is the maximally greatest Being. Seven archangels? Where do you get that from? It's not in the Bible, so you seem to rely on extra-Biblical sources (which are false), therefore your argument against the Trinity can't be taken seriously if you use extra-Biblical sources as evidence against the Trinity. Finally, since I would assume you believe the Catholics created the Trinity, why would they do that? The Trinity or oneness is not essential to salvation. The only thing relating to the Trinity, oneness, or God that would be essential to salvation is that Jesus is God. You need to believe that. Therefore, why would the Catholics conspire to create an unessential doctrine? Do you believe that believing in Jesus as God is dangerous to our salvation (since you don't believe He is?), and you need to believe He is just a man that is the Messiah?

@@x-popone6817 I think you'll discover that its just a matter of semantics...saying that the Trinity consists of 3 persons within one eternal being as you did & saying that it consists of 3 aspects or forms is pretty close if not identical as far as I'm concerned. It's just like the Hindu's saying that the 3 'persons' of the Trimurti - Brahma, Vishnu, & Shiva all exist in Brahman (with an 'n') or ParaBrahman. The Vedas by the way also speak of the Father & Son as one. Regarding the spirit this might be able to clue you in: "For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God." (1Cor 2:11). As for your last comment I'm into paganism/Hinduism/esoteric philosophy so on the contrary, I can indeed believe that Jesus is God...just as the ancient Romans & Greeks believed the emperors were sons of God or manifestations of God & enlightened yogis in India being manifestations of God.

@@zilchnilton I know it's pretty close. I never said Unitarians are not saved or anything like that. The only difference is that Trinitarians believe in one being with three persons while Unitarians believe in one being with one person that changes forms. As long as you believe Jesus is God you're fine. I know that about the Hindu's, that's why I said the Unitarian view is closer to paganism since you believe in different forms of one person just like them. I had that Hindu god or whatever in mind. You're into paganism etc? Are you not a Christian or what does that mean? You just know a lot about it?

QURAN is garbage because QURAN says trinity is Jesus, God and Mary which was completely bonkers because at no point in history these 3 ever were trinity. Besides, Quranic embryology is stolen from GreeK School of Medicine of 14th century which modern science shows is wrong. Then Muhammad said sun sets in the muddy waters, which again if ALLAH was revealing him, ALLAH is just like Muhhamad who was on earth seeing sun setting in the water. Same with QURAN saying the sun orbits around the earth again it cannot be GOD but Muhammad who was 14th century nomad who had no idea about plabetary science. ALLAH is a fig of imagination of Muhammad. I can throw more absurdities, its full of error plagiarized from sources older than Muhammad. Muhammad was also racist because he had black slaves and the Hadith shows depict Muhammad was white and hated his black slaves so much for muslims to become the saviour of black people.

@@irfana4937 Irfan you think we cannot read, so I will make life easy for you...see below Quran does say about the trinity. And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. Surah 5:116 Bart Erhman always said he was a historian and not a theologian and your blanket statement that there are mistakes in the Bible quoting him is inaccurate. Allah says in Quran he is 'Al Awwal and Al Aakhir, which means first and the last. In Revelation, Jesus says ' he is the first and the last, the alpha and the omega.' Quran has mistakes galore: 1. Sun rotates around the earth 2. Sperm is found between the rib and back bone 3. Sun sets in the muddy waters 4. Embroyology of Quran is stolen from Greek school of medicine whic is wrong I have already responded with my quotes from Quran.

@@Antislm dear brother I wish u read whole Quran. Bible doesnt have word Trinity. But Qur'an does have. Allah forbids Humans to say God is 3 in 1(Trinity). The Verse u r quoting doesnt use word Trinity. But says O Jesus did u say people to Worship U n ur mother. Fact Jesus Christ Never said Worship me or my mother. Many Christians Do Pray to Mary too. I hope u understand.

@@irfana4937 You are right. Prophet Muhammad met people who worshipped Mary so Muhammad completely missed the fact that Christians from day one believed Trinity to be Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, which he did not know because his revelations came from himself. Hence we say Muhammad never received his revelations from Allah because Allah could not have missed the trinity as worshipped by Christians. As for reading the Quran, you cannot just read Quran, you have to have Hadith.

Quite a coincidence in the same years shortly within the first Christianized emperor's, Constantine, conquest of unified Rome, the trinity is made up. Not until after Constantine and his soldiers bringing all together, did Christian leaders convene over essence of God. When he called and allowed Christian leaders to meet, Constantine's unified roman empire still had religious quarrels. So they were squashed in this council of nicea. Where all of a sudden the trinity comes about..

@K P I am no Muslim but got much respect for certain elements of Islam. Two huge ones for me is that God is very much the same God throughout the eternities. He wouldn't just suddenly alter or spell out His very character and essence in some council 1000s of years after He had already communicated with His kids? Speaking of communicating with His kids. God always revealed His will and ways through a prophet. There is definitely far more of the word of God as well than just the bible. So Islam definitely has enormous divine bonus points in those areas of real Godly belief.
