I've been a yoga practitioner for 35 years and a teacher for 20 and this is the best video I've seen out there on the Tibetans. I'm the queen of modifications, love finding ways to make things accessible for clients, and your demos are terrific. I also have personal experience using pure visualisation to get me from immobile with an injury to back up and about. It works! I played my favourite yoga dvds and imagined I was doing them. Research shows that mental focus stimulates muscles. So I am really happy to hear someone else point this out. It's also great to see a fellow kundalini yogi merging that practice and energy. I like to do some breath of fire before them, and some Sodarshan Chakra Kriya after. Then I'm humming all day long. 😊 New subscriber here, beautiful work! BTW, a half down dog is basically cobra. 😊

Hi, should be done only in the mornings, please? I don't have time in the morning, so, I am wondering if it can be done any time if the day. Thank you.

Hi there - Mornings are best - even if you just do 3 reps of each (taking about 3 minutes) you will experience benefits. At other times of the day I would experiment - many have said that if they do the rites too close to bed it keeps them up (personally, I never do past 2pm - similar to when I stop drinking any caffeine). Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

If I start with chair modifications, continue with floor modifications, will I eventually get strong enough to do the full exercise?

Hi Lori - In my experience, the human body is a miraculous thing. My biggest suggestion is to listen to your body. Let it decide when to move from chair to floor then full exercises. Some days I do full exercises, sometimes modifications, sometimes a mix of full and modifications, all dependent on what my body can safely manage. What is most important is that you are SHOWINg UP and showing the universe (and yourself) that you are investing in your well-being and that my dear friend will have a HUGE pay-off, even if you never move off that chair :)

I can’t stand spinning so I do squats for 1 and then 2 to 5 as normal. I do 21 of each they are great.
