I found myself in slayback posture through your assesments , and then I did all the exercises step by step It instantly made my IR better and Straight leg raise better significantly . But still I was feeling some tightness in my upper back , Then I searched " Zac cupples upper Back " and then found a video from a year ago and again magic , I have relieved a tightness I 've built from 2 years ago when accidently I had injured my right ankle , and maybe due to that my pelvis position got shifted , but this I realised only when I did all the exercises mentioned and felt a bony strech happening in my pelvis for a moment as I streched by back ,just after that I felt like I was in heaven and now I am a die heart follower of yours for life. Thank u so much Currenlty I am a student but as soon as I will get a job , I will definitely show my gratitude towards if possible. Please never stop making such useful ,life saving videos . Many more people like me are waiting for u to reach them. I will make sure that whoever is in pain that I know of , your videos are the first one I 'll recommend to them .

I wanted to thank you, I've been dealing with hip internal issues plus shoulder issues for years and I started with your video to fix everything, I'm still in the first part but I already saw great results, I breathe better, my shoulder is not bothering me and I could sleep better as well, I feel I can train with more confidence, and with just a couple of days doing the very first part of this video... you are the man, thank you so much, It is greatly appreciated (writing u from Colombia!)

Really appreciate the quality of this video Zac! This and the last video seem to offer even more value and quality, thanks for that! I’ve been following along but have been noticing that I’m feeling more tension in my jaw and clenching more often. Any clue what’s going on here or should I ignore and focus on the pelvis? I think I remember you saying you were personally dealing with a jaw issue and noticed you wearing clear aligners in old videos, I also know some other pt’s advise splints or ALF’s, would be great to hear your thoughts on these and if you think they are over prescribed / not needed in most cases etc. Thanks in advance! 👍

Hi there, thank you for the great content as always. In the Swayback case for the box squat, do you know how to prevent pain/discomfort in the low back while doing the exercise ? Could it be a sign of poor core engagement ? Thank you very much.

Great video, I am having some issues with my results, I am limited in IR and SLR, but I seem too pass the faber test easily.. What would you say about this finding? I think I look like a swayback, though I have very tight abs, and crunch these to not “swayback” giving me a kyphotic appearance. Should I follow the swayback presentation?

Hello Zac, can you provide some helpful links on this subject: 1. Left hip higher than right and pelvis rotated to the right side. 2. Right Leg more muscular than the left and feels like it is limited in motion in comparison to left leg. 3. Right foot arch slightly lower than the left. 4. When i stand and walk i feel that all my weight is being distributed on the right leg. 5. Right gluteus harder to feel and activate and seems a bit smaller or tighter. 6. All these problems above seem to created anterior pelvic tilt and i have pain in right lower back. What would your approach be in this situation?

When working with someone in person, you’ll use the early hip ER and IR table tests instead? And use the supine hip flexion text instead of Thomas test?

Great info and plan to conduct the tests and begin the exercises. I ride my bicycle, lift weights (am 67 years old) I am guessing, giving the submaximal tension, that it may be best to stop the weights, biking during the 30 days. It that correct?

Thanks Zac This is what needed, I have over pronation in my left foot which could be because of limited internal hip mobility.

Respected Sir , Please answer my question -: I was doing yoga at home , after some time i noticed a bulge and stiffness on my oblique muscles on both sides .My waist curves affected by doing it and my waist line became wide and ugly . Please recommend me some exercise or stretching to get my aesthetic waist curves back as it was before .

Hi zac, what if i have an anteriorly tilted pelvis, with limited IR and SLR? I'm a wide ISA and instead of my pelvis scooping under, it has just shifted forward. (tension in upper glutes and lower glutes both, I guess endgame). Will these swayback drills work???
@forzapearbear83592 ай бұрын
Zac, I have a specific problem with my hips that I think nobody has. My left femur is excessively anteverted. It has 32 degrees of femoral anteversion. My right hip is normal 14 degrees. That restricts my left hip external rotation. That causes anterior pelvic tilt only on left side. That causes weaker glutes and weaker oblique on left side. That causes more other imbalances through whole my body. My strategy is I don't now. Should I get surgery to fix my femoral rotation. What to do, help me please
@ZacCupplesPT2 ай бұрын
It’s really hard to say without seeing you, but I’ve had good success with people who have a fair amount of anteversiob with the ER moves

I think you're missing a whole group of people. I passed all tests easily. Hyper mobility, dancer... Yet, I've still got issues
@Venya32132 ай бұрын
I guess, you should control pelvic movements very precisely, because spinal motion can compensate for hips in almost every test And it might be especially true for you as a dancer, who has to move through the lumbar spine a lot But such a control might seem pretty hard and another solution are passive tests (ask someone to raise your leg until they feel resistance or notice pelvis moving) I work (as a goalkeeper coach) with an ex dancer and she got active straight leg raise(SLR) like 80-90°, no deficits in hip IR, but then we went to passive SLR and got 35° and all the answers to our questions Of cause, also waiting for Big Z answer
