Fixing a gravel driveway

Using a compact track loader to fix a water channel in a gravel driveway, then regrading the edges to allow for proper drainage.

3 yrs Ago my job literally vanished due to technology I was over working for others and have been my entire life, I took my life savings of 25 yrs and bought a small tractor and a bunch of attachments for it I already had one ton diesel truck and a 18’ utility trailer for my Polaris and Dort bikes . I, watched Andrews videos over and over and a couple other excavation guys and boom now i have a bigger tractor , A Skid steer TL 10 like Andrews in this video a bigger trailer and next week I’ll have my second mini excavator I had a tiny one like Andrews Lil komatsu getting a bigger one . And also I’m about to get my first employee to do all my tractor Type jobs , and soon my first dump truck not a big one just a ram 5500 dump . Best part is like my own boss I own all my equipment trailers and trucks cash años just bought my family a new hose and have also triple the savings I had before I started . And it’s so relaxing I love digging fixing people’s properties thanks a lot AC your the man !!

Well but those things are a hassle to transport compared to a skidsteer. Apart from that they use quite a bit more fuel and can't follow very sharp turns. They only make sense to use if you need to do more than just surface fixes.

My approach to fixing my gravel roads is: Angle blade to move edge gravel to middle of road for regarding later ( saves money on new gravel ). Fix drainage ditches and load with fairly large rocks to help stop water from cutting away edge of road. Regrade, and crown road.

As a fellow equipment operator.. I can say you are a good operator.. it’s the little things that set apart the average guys that can just run the machine .. and the guys that can operate it and make it sing . Never a wasted movement is what makes a good operator. You either have it or you don’t . Love your videos . I can watch earth being moved all day . Lol . I don’t know what is, but I find it almost therapeutic 😆 cheers from Canada 🤟

All I know is that this young man in my opinion is a master operator for him to operate these machines the way he does as an extension of his arms in his hands is his absolutely amazing and no matter what machine it is it's not like he's proficient just one it's all of his machinery that he owns that he can do whatever he chooses to
