Man you've been buying hardware for your viewers on this series? And you're doing this for free? Greg you are so awesome man. Guys I know it's a business for him but come on he doesn't have to fix strangers pcs and give them upgrades when he can. Yes he makes money on it but that doesn't matter. He's awesome but the financial hit i dont think is a real thing. He does it free and can replace hardware because he gets the money back from making a video, running ads and getting 10s-100s of thousands of views. Its essentially like video content finds him as opposed to having to take time to come up with ideas everyday like some creators. I'm not bashing it just stating the facts.

This is hands down my favorite series over anything, ever. I’m talking I could spend hours watching all of these episodes except I have already binged all of them so I thank God he continues to come through for us! I got into PC gaming about 6 or so months ago. I got tired of limited FOV and performance and it took me a while, but I saved up and built my own PC with comfortable knowledge on what I was getting for my value, future proofing, and really was not nervous to put it together at all. All my learning would have never been possible without your channel my friend! Thanks for helping me find a new passion! I wish to do what you do in the future.. If he feels he got ripped off he can call his bank and tell them to do a reverse on the payment, the seller might get ticked off and He could then come and fetch his garbage and learn a valuable lesson. There's a time limit on payments for shifty sellers and Ebay and most sites will back the buyer especially when a seller blocks them after registering a legit complaint. Great video!
@coreymcdonald7745
@coreymcdonald7745 Жыл бұрын
Typically you pay with cash from Facebook marketplace. There are no online methods of payment, unless the seller agrees to an electronic form of payment like PayPal or Interac E-Transfer (if that even exists in the USA.)
@TheSpotify95
@TheSpotify95 6 ай бұрын
That would be a good idea if paid with card or PayPal etc. However paying via Bank Transfer or Cash will likely result in not being successful in getting your money back. So someone put a half-defective CPU and an overheating GPU into a gaming rig... not great!

Nice to see another rig saved, your fix or flop videos have actually saved my own pc this week when my motherboard simply stopped working. I tried everything I could but it would not power on, after a little research it seemed the motherboard in question ( gigabyte ab350m gaming) has a bricking issue. I knew it wasn't ram or CPU as fans didn't even spin and I was able to test PSU on a second system. After purchasing a new board my system is back up and running, all I did with the old mb when it was last used it shut it down via the menu and left for a few days. It's a shame I couldn't send you the board to do some digging but I'm based in UK, anyway looking forward to your next video 👍👍

I find it hard to believe these croak on their own and wonder if it's excessive heat or XMP profiles that push the controller too hard? Anyway, great job helping that guy. I don't like second hand components and especially complete systems unless they can be demonstrated functioning without issue. Good stuff Mr. Salazar! 💪👍

Probably auto voltage on motherboards pushing way too much voltage into the memory controller. Or in this case, since the cooler was clearly mounted loosely, maybe only one memory channel died a heat death (unlikely).

@@j.p.h.8126 you don't lose much performance, especially if you have a poor cooling solution. Thanks for the video. I had a very similar issue with my 6800XT except it took longer to power off. The issue turned out to be heat related. I tried re-pasting it and adding new thermal pads. Nothing worked until I water cooled it and the card has been rock solid ever since.

i found this video just by chance after i thought i was giving up. my pc is doing the exact same thing your R9 5900x is doing. i have been looking all over and asking everyone including geek squad and nobody had a clue what was wrong. will pop up preparing automatic update and that's all it will do. i tried everything including updated bios etc. im almost certain the cpu is the problem now. thank you so much for making this video. you definitely get my follow.
