thanks for posting this. i'm currently rehabbing a spine injury with a physiotherapist, but my old labral tear is popping up as a hip shift/impingement. i obviously need my hips to be in good shape to support my busted lumbar, so i love the idea of using drills like this at home to accelerate my treatment a bit. i am excited to blow my physio away with a more mobile hip!

Could you do a video about how to fix a patella not entering the trochlea centered, leading to inflammation and pain? Basically what happens when the vmo is too inactive, and the patella gets pulled laterally, not ideally entering the trochlea. Which can be made worse by patella alta. The pain would be around 30-45° of knee flexion, with no symptoms in greater flexion. Thank you for your videos, I greatly appreciate the content you publish.

Hi, thank you so much for your videos. My squat hasn’t felt right for years and after watching your videos I know I have to work not only on ankle mobility but also hips. My question is, while I’m fixing these mobility issues and taking it easy on squats, is it okay to still go full force on other leg exercises on leg day? Eg leg press, hip thrusts, etc? Or should I slow right down on everything until these mobility issues are fixed?

Same problem has been killing me recently. I trained pretty hard for a while, but fell off around april. I had just got back to where I dropped off and then this hip problem came.

For some reason doing adductor stretches reliefs my hip pain more than anything else

Is this the top of the hip in the lower back ? Or is that a separate issue ? I get it mostly from lower back flexion or bad pelvic tilt.

i have the same issue. it seems like this guys left hip is still "caving" in when he gets past parallel. same thing happens to me. been squating for twenty years and only now I have this pain. hope it gets fixed!

Sir i have pain in my both groin and right side of glute mid area over a year. Both Groin pain comes when i squat and Right mid glute pain starts when i Perform deadlift. So can you tell me the reason for this pain

My knees, my hips both hurt. I thought it was the tendon at my hip, no. I did the stretches and it still feels like a deep, uncomfortable pressure at the top corner of my hip joint, and my knees hurt. I’ve tried every form. This is just frustrating

I'd love to talk to you and get your help.. Been having lower back and left groin pain like this dude for 2 years. Watched hundreds of vids, went numerous of docs, no solution. Feeling like 75 in my 25's...

I had side groin pain, in the end it was because the tendons of my leg adductors were too weak. Maybe that might help you. But I am aware that there are many causes and I am not trying to diagnose you, just shaing my experience.

@@reinerheiner1148 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. You might be right. I'm trying to do banded joint mobilization and banded bodyweight squats to teach my groin how to move properly these days and I can feel that I'm improving even it's very little. At the same time it's extremely strange that none of the local doctors around here who have been working in this industry for tens of years and done numerous of operations, could help me to at least relieve my pain. But a doc from youtube can help. What a world we live in..

Squatting can cause lower back pain when the neutral curve in our back is not maintained throughout the movement as you want to avoid having a rounded back by keeping your chest up this keeps your lower back neutral, as a rounded back during a squat can lead to a sore back.
