Great video again I noticed you did the same video with The Helio spring flight controller. I just build my 1st new helio aio. N flashed the new odin 3.5.2 and updated the imuf in clu. brand new Skitzo Nova frame my Motors are the hypetrain and there hard mounted, the flight controller uses some rubber washers and then the gummies with Nylock nuts like you have in this video. The quad flies great low throttle and no oscillations at high throttle but in my mid throttle range I don't know if they're mid throttle oscillations but the quad will wobble on all accesses almost like a low I term when you're descending. Its like all over the place. I don't know if that's mid throttle oscillations or what I don't know what to do with this new Helio board the filters or the pids. Should I set it to 32k 32k with Multi Shot or 16 16 with dshot using speedix GS 30 amp. Im going to Soft mount my Motors and loosen the stack a little.. I'm going to see if that helps... it's not like a mid throttle oscillation that I've seen before where it's very quick this is more of a slow wobble.. please help I really want to send you a video of a quick flight. Because i dont think anyone else has this issue ..

@dorkyand40 I've got a new build I did impulse apex with tmotors f55 stack and I've got a odd bobble on decents and certain throttle percentage and yeh the stack has gummies but shit it was tight. Wondering if having stack screws cut down to place soft mount bobbins will help? Love the frame and build but damn it looks bad

I had weird vibes with reverb and alien so don’t buy those anymore. I use tbs source 1 and slam it and lighten it up. No cam plates and titanium hardware. More then half price and excellent noise profile. You’ll need to balacl box and find out if it’s frame noise. Could be wonky esc too. I’ve had that before and those issues

I am getting exactly the same issue with my Epic 229, the only problem is that I am using a 4in1 ESC (Tekko32), and on top of it an aluminium plate to shield the EMI that disturb the Helio… Its a very tight fit, I will have to be smart to softmount the FC better… Thanks for the info, I was also playing around with the Q and BB.

yeah its def the answer..my first helio is on a pdb in reverb1..its on the nylon standoffs and when the motors were new it was fine but now that the TBS PILOT motors (not the best) are wearing a bit I can start to see some MTO there too..just a tad bit of soft mounting seems to fix it all..if you watched the video you saw the proof..I bet it was the tase issues on my epic I tried to put a helio on..ODIN just works AMZING PERIOD when it has very little noise to deal with..with BETA you can always start to add the filters and stuff but as you know its just not the same..even though I am fine with my epic beta build because richard has done all the work..if I had to tune all that stuff idk what I would do lol..you can crank them down fairly tight too as long as theres a bit of something extra under that stack

I'm going to play with trying to tune pids/adjust TPA and whatnot. I'm running gemfan 6042 props. Have some HQ 6x3x3 and 6x4x3 also to try also. If I can fix issue may swap out helio for a different FC

Did you have smoothing on in Blackbox? My gyro looks 5x worse than yours but flys smoother what gives?

dont remeber..black box is kind of hard to figure out what up since its averaging noise during the entire flight. plasma tree is a better example for noise in the power band
