dude stop it, valve doesn't want to create update for the game, creating nda agreement would be as difficult for then. We as a community need to take actions (boycott) and give our demands (bring back quickplay, unsilence f2p, long term solution against bots) not trying to squeeze hope out of air🎉

@@kezif what are you on about? How is saying a community member that has had historic collaboration with Valve may be more than just a karma farmer saying we shouldn’t boycott? I have been boycotting the game for months, well before this movement was a thing, and I have no intentions of stopping. I fully agree with ensuring the long term bot deterrence and unmuting f2ps, but stop glazing Quickplay. If you were actually there for it, it wasn’t that good. It was nigh impossible to search for a game with friends and you couldn’t pick out specific maps. I would hard quit the game again if I couldn’t make sure I never have to play with specific maps. Quickplay was only good for the community servers and even then it would work well with casual if they just add a button to search community servers aswell. Plus I am allowed to be cautiously optimistic. Valve has already exceeded community expectations so there is a lot of room for stuff that can actually happen. Will anything big happen? Probably not, but why do I have to be pessimistic?

I like how he says "out of context" as if there was context to the tweet. It is a low quality photograph of a notebook with a decent quality cover and the Valve logo on it. The implication to a quality made notebook with a logo of a prestigious company on it implies it belongs to the company, the low quality nature of the photo implies the subject of the photo is somehow related to the current activities of the photographer, and this proceeding a balancing question implies relation between the two. I wonder if he'll even try to follow up this sorry excuse.

So my first thought was that these bot reviews were by the bot hosters from the bot crisis, trying to make players and would-be players more comfortable with joining a game that will have a new series of bot waves. But when the whole thing with the gambling services came up, I shelved that idea. I only bring it up still in case it was a possibility.
