FJR1300 Stock vs Delkevic/no baffles, 15 riding tests, 5 idle tests, 3 cams, 3mics, decibel tests.

2015 Yamaha FJR1300, 3900 miles. Testing the sound level of the stock mufflers vs Delkevic 13 inch Tri Oval mufflers with baffles in then baffles out. Includes 5 idle test videos with the Samsung S22+ and 2 idle tests with decibel results from my Lonvox sound level meter. 6 ride test videos filmed with stationary Sony FDR-AX53 HD camcorder. And finally, 9 riding test videos with Insta360 camera and external microphone clipped to the license plate frame. Hope you enjoy this video and find it informing. I'm confused. The Delkevic website does not mention any removable baffles for this muffler. What gives?

The previous owner bought the Delkevic mufflers new but never installed them so maybe now Delkevic does not offer them with baffles.

I just received an answer from Delkevic - they do come with a removable baffle. Nice!

More noise. Seems most well-known ECU tuners can only get about 10 more horsepower with an ECU tune, mufflers and air filter sooooo. Thanks for watching Bruce!
