When using COMANDANTE, it is strongly recommended that an optional REDCLIX be provided. This is only the case for my coffee beans, but I use a grain size of 14clicks to 18clicks with REDCLIX. Even with the same coffee beans, the appropriate grain size will vary depending on the freshness and the filter basket used, so I adjust accordingly.

Any idea why my flair 58 cups are bubbly? Even tho the roasting date is on point. I use a flat burr grinder, is this the issue ?

Sorry for the late reply.🙏🏼 If there are a lot of bubbles and not crema, I think it's carbon dioxide from the coffee beans. Why don't you let the coffee beans rest a little longer and see what happens? I don't think the grinder blade is the cause of the high foam.

This video uses a stock portafilter and portafilter basket. I am using portafilters provided by NORMCORE and IKAPE. The portafilter basket is provided by NORMCORE and VST.

@@muhammadsyarif826 Portafilters for the Flair 58 are often sold for use with the E61. However, some products cannot be used with the Flair 58, so it is important to check the manufacturer's instructions.

May I know what’s your extraction duration to get 36g? (Excluding the 15s pre infusion) I think i got 9 bar, 18g in 36-38g out.. but probably my extraction duration wasn’t right..

The extraction portion of this video is uncut, so please refer to the video for exact extraction times. I was aiming for 30 seconds at this time. I think it was actually about 30 to 32 seconds. However, this time should be considered as an initial target to get used to the extraction process. Once you are able to adjust the grain size to your target time, you can change the grain size and extraction time to get the flavor you prefer.
