I can honestly say that this was my favourite Netflix series last year I just love everything about it great characters great soundtrack and it actually really makes me want to visit Venice Beach some point in my life. I just hope it's not true that they're making less than 8 episodes this season me personally I actually thought 8 wasn't enough

Imagine a show where creepy-looking, middle-aged, loser women, stuck in adolescence, were running around thinking it's completely normal to yearn for, chase, date young, hot 20 something guys. These young guys are surrounded by young, attractive women, yet they go for these old, bloated, shlumperdink women. This is what it's like watching this as a woman. I get it's a fantasy, but middle-aged, loser women would be refreshing and funny.

This show helped me a lot when I was going though the most difficult moment of my life.. my closest relative dying from cancer... had to work many hours and take care of her late in the nights but for some minutes every morning I imagined I was this guy, riding that bike, completely absent from any problem around him, with good things happening even if they were not prefect. I really wanted to be him...

This is spot on. "Flaked" is hardly the best of Netflix originals, but it is a cool show in its own right. And it's lensed by Wally Pfister who shot "Moneyball." They really captured the feel of Venice CA. I live in the area and know it fairly well.
