Flashback: Nicole Kidman as The White Witch?

Famous actors will always be ‘unknowns’ to the children watching. When I watched the 2005 movie as a kid I didn’t know who Tilda Swinton was, I just saw her as The White Witch. Now that I’m older I don’t really care if the actress playing her is famous or not, just as long as they’re good.

I think the idea of someone assuming Adamson was Kidman is hilarious, but to me, I am still a bit surprised that would happen, so I will say, "We will never actually know." I am fine with famous actors playing Narnia characters, but I do prefer unknowns... For the reason that it is nice not to have the baggage that comes from other roles, the media and the gossip magazines.

I think that some new and some "names" would be grate but I wouldn't be upset with well known or new actors. as long as the stay true to C.S.Lewis's books.

I'd have loved Nicole Kidman as White Witch, she's an incredibly talented actress. So as long as the actor is good and fits the part, I'm happy.

I hope Tilda Swenson will be recast as Jadis for the upcoming Narnia pieces, in fact I hope they bring back the same actors for The Last Battle, I will implode in every good way.

I just know it should have been someone more beautiful than Tilda Swinton. The book described Jadis as very beautiful.
