It is. Although there were some pretty good ones in the Nolan flicks. My main problem with this scene is that Batman doesn't use guns. Shooting the guy with the flamethrower, even with another bad guys gun, isn't something Bruce would do. He hates the things. They should've just had him throw another batarang.

Zack would've been better suited bringing Batman to the big screen, but he'd need someone else writing with maybe some input. He's great with the action shots, & Wilkinson & whomever really did a service to the comics by introducing him in the grey suit. The same with the rest of the Justice League minus Cyborg & the Flash. Superman should be penned by Paul Dini & Grant Morrison, maybe animated & comic writers don't translate to the silver screen so maybe with their input with an experienced writer, with Mayhew Vaughn or Peter Jackson directing. I can also see James Mangold or David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, Wind River) behind the director's seat of a Batman movie. Just my 2 cents. 🖐️⚡
