Its because Zack planned this to be a 3 part 2.25 hour movies and when they fired him they told Josh we are making it into 1x 2 hour movie there was no way Josh had a chance of this movie being good on top having to reshoot while actors had already moved to other projects..what we saw on HBO max was Sniders part 1 and 2 movies ..the 3rd part wasn't made yet where they fought Darkseid which was why the HBO release was 4 hours long it would have been part 1 and part 2 ..which leaves the Snider cut unfinished none of it was even started being filmed yet they wanted to complete all what they had ..at least we got them to do that much WB is a joke hopefully the new leadership is better

Loyal, all ignore Alfred like he would be some meaningless piece of rubbish. No manners whatsoever except Flash. Like it would be too much asked to greet when Bruce tries to introduce him. Pathetic and sad scene in a way. They were in no hurry, no excuses to act like selfish and arrogant morons, unless being such. There are people who are nice to you if they feel that they get something from you, benefit in some way. Then there are people who have manners and are nice to all, truly people who you can admire.

There are numerous things I love about Batfleck's character development: 1. Pay attention to him, he listens to his team, he lets them brainstrom, and I like the subtle nod Diana and Bruce did as if they knew this team is going to work well. 2. His reliance to faith than reason. He was obsessed with hatred, fear, rage, and suffering in BvS which made him a different character (which was the point of the movie), here you can see he is motivated in saving the world like he was in his early years. 3. His words are rather inspiring than saddening. He motivates his teams and boosts their confidence. He is selfless and caring. 4. The way Ben Affleck delivers his performance as Bruce Wayne is very elegant and badass. I can say, this movie fleshes out the Bruce Wayne side than Batman. It's given that Ben can flawlessly played both sides, but Bruce Wayne is one way to show the character progresses and it is also one way to appreciate his character arc from BvS to ZLJL.

This version of WW is wonderful, literally. Smart, practical, compassionate, knowledgeable, wise, caring and leading. She isn't just a warrior with a sword and a whip, but somebody with nearly a millennia of universal knowledge and isn't afraid to use it. Wisdom at it's finest. Honestly best version of WW ever written in DC history, second only to the JL/JLU animated WW. And Gadot portrayed her perfectly.

If you think about it, Steppenwolf and his army has most likely fought a lantern before, afterall it was stated that Steppenwolf conquered around 100 thousand worlds and it's not hard to imagine that there's at the very least one lantern in one of the 100 thousand worlds, and it was stated by Steppenwolf that Lanterns are one of their concerns when invading a planet. when Barry said "we gotta assume he has fought other superbeings" It was probably a nod to the lanterns corps.

I absolutely love this scene. Each character is intelligent in their own ways, showing their strengths, their vulnerabilities, and their compassion for each other. Victor recognizes what he has to do and is willing to do it, because his father sacrificed himself to give Victor this chance for victory and he is not going to let it go. And Diana, being the kind and compassionate, I guess you could say mother figure of the team, she tries to console him, tell him that he doesn’t need to do it. And I love how Diana has this kind and caring, but fiercely terrifying demeanor all at the same time. And Bruce, oh man, don’t even get me started on that one. I love how optimistic he is now compared to where he was in BVS. Where once there was darkness and fear, there is now light and hope. Such incredible character development.
@EtwasMartin

I love that in this Justice League, Diana is as much of a leader as Bruce. She is a trained warrior and royalty. She was raised to be leader and effortlessly steps up to the part without taking away from Bruce's leadership role which is about bringing the team together and coordinating them. It just makes sense and that is what the regular cut was missing: the team and the roles of each member making sense.

Affleck is so good in this scene. While the League are discussing their plan he doesn’t say much, you can see him thinking it over in his head and analysing every word. Super calculated but still has a lot of humanity in him - almost poignantly reminiscing of the times he would be working together with Robin in the cave before he was killed by the Joker and leaving Bruce a broken man.

Nope he’s absolutely terrible. The actor’s transgressions not withstanding the one mistake Zack made was casting this clown to be the flash. Every time he opens his mouth it’s cringe. 😬 The only moment I like is when he goes back through time to save the heroes and also his final moment with his father in his cell. The only two moments where flash is being mature as opposed to acting like some retard with ADHD. I’m so glad they are recasting the role and moving on from miller. Personally I couldn’t care less about his crimes in real life but he was seriously miscast as the speedster. I would have preferred Grant Gustin in the role instead. Although he’s playing the T.V. version of the character he actually makes the character feel believable and likeable. Miller made the flash deplorable.

ZSJL actually won me over with Ezra as The Flash it's just a shame that they are terrible person that absolutely needs to be recast.

This is one of my favourite movies ever. Zack Snyder is something else. I'm not a Snyder cultist but damn if he wasn't perfect for these movies. DC felt like it was doing its own thing

Alfred: "good day, Prince." "Oh..." "Well, I'll put on the tea." "I don't know where we're gonna find the cups." Flash: "wow! This is awesome!" "Oh, gosh, yes! Yes!" "This is a batcave!" "Right, it's probably so radioactive that you grow an extra foot outta your neck." "What? So we can't blow it up?" 2:10-2:25 "you know, does everyone have any a snack? I'm kinda hungry." Batman: "brought some friends." "Everyone, this is Alfred. I work for him." "A little bit of speechless." "Great." "So Aquaman, I hear you change your mind." "Then, give me a favor." "Doesn't mean I'm wrong?" "There's the mother box, right there." "We'll attack from above." 2:33 Cyborg: "thanks Alfred, but I'll taking from here." "Just don't worry about it." "Not even the army goes in." "Not anymore. He's harvested the radiation to build his base." "The unity's in there." "Not from the outside." 1:22 "just get me in & get me time." "If I don't, we all die. Period." "I got nothing left." "You wanted me to use these gifts, right?" "That's what I'm gonna do." Wonder woman: "hello, Alfred." "Go to visible spectrum." "Pozharnov. Ghost City not far from Moscow. It's been abandoned since the nuclear accident there 30 years ago." "Zoom." 1:14-1:30 "you could die, Victor." Aquaman: "it's bad ass, Alfred." "I dig it." "Dress like a bat!" "Hey, i don't mind about dress like a shit." *chuckle* *smirking* "yeah, doesn't mean I'm wrong." "What the hell is he building?" "I'm fighting the devil & his army...in hell." "Talking a fish? I don't think so, bats." *smirk*

Its sad to think that if Snyder had his way, DC by now would actually be giving the MCU a run for their money. A darker universe would have been great counter programming

So stupid they have to mention in every movie that the area where the final fight will happen is abandoned. All because people were nitpicky about the damage done by Superman in Man of Steel.

I love that out of the superheroes in that room, Bruce is the most experienced as he's been doing his thing for 20 years. Diana has been in an out of the game for a century at least. Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash have been only been doing the superhero thing for a short time.
