I think it’s because she is *intrigued* by Steve in some way that appeals specifically *to her,* she knows there is much more to him than first meets the eye. I think this happens quite *naturally* when you’re establishing a deeper connection with someone. In that respect you don’t really need to think *too* much into things, even though I’ve written like thousands of words on this. If you *have* a bit of depth yourself I think you will *naturally* connect with someone in-depth. But you don’t need to be some sort of “save the World” type of guy to be intriguing, you just have to have *something* going on that’s worthwhile in *her* eyes. That said if she is a “save the World” type of girl, you might have to be a “save the World” type of guy.
