Great review Dom! I loved Flashpoint! I've got the boxset with all of the tie-ins and was happy I made that choice because I really enjoyed sering the full story.

Oh so awesome!! I’ve definitely considered the omnibus for that same reason I won’t lie to you haha.. I have a few of the tie in trades and have really enjoyed what I’ve read, particularly the Batman tie-Ins just a very cool sequence of issues! Some Flash is always nice and this one seem to be a good comic to read + Geoff Johns seem to be very solid doing good stories! :)

Yeah I swear I never see Johns doing bad work, you know? I feel like he’s consistently solid. And I did really enjoy this series! Some of the other tie in miniseries are also pretty good! Thanks for watching

@@pixel325 the animated Flashpoint Paradox movie is an adaptation of this, or at least using this as the source material. If that’s what you’re referring to. If so, I will say it’s one of my top DC animated movies :)

Flashpoint is something that has been on my radar. Any required reading beforehand? it doesnt seem like it.

Flash had some lead-in issues and it’s fun to have read Flash Rebirth first, but no I’d say no real required reading. Functions well as a stand-alone event mini-series

i just picked up flashpoint as my first ever comic book, do i have to read the other 5 tie ins or can i get straight into the new 52 after just reading the one flashpoint book

Great question!! So my first time I only read the flashpoint miniseries and was totally fine to dive into the new 52. The tie-ins are great to expand and develop the world and characters within flashpoint, but is not critical for the new52 in my opinion. If that makes sense!
