I run a 108 cdi 2002 daily, it is bulletproof, and mine has hardly any rust. And I get about 40mpg driving carefully 👌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻 on 300k miles too 🤗

I bought a 112cdi last week. From an older chap who used it to drive to fairs and markets. The van has been parked inside all its life, and maintained well. It's a 2002 model with 15878km on the clock. They dó exist!

Might be a little crusty where it is, but could end up being a decent workvan for someone, so long as whatever rust there is doesn't affect it in any import spots on the body. Clean it up a bit, patch up some of the rust & you'd be right, as these older ones are still good. This one has some nice type of mercedes wheels on it too.

Had a Sprinter a couple of years ago. When I went to see it it was all dirty and hasn't started for 5+ years, 197.000km and no rust. Installed a new battery and it started with the first attempt. Sold it 2 years ago with 240.000km because I was not using it too much but kept it for 5 years, good van and very reliable

i wouldn't say mercedes rust prevent is much good they often appear more rusty than other makes of same age. Did seem to have good oil pressure tho...still useful for moving stuff around a farm if too rusty to go back on road

buenas noches, la tuya sabrías decirme que tipo de motor lleva, yo tengo una igual pero la compre hace un par de años con un fallo en el marcador que pone EDC y esta en modo emergencia, no pasa de 3000 rpm ni de 80 km/h... por papeles me pone que es motor tipo 611980, pero no se si anteriormente le cambiaron el motor y puede que este descoordinado con la centralita, un saludo.

This is why I won't sell my Vito THX! ... have it for 10 years ... one break down due to a water pump jam, and belt rupture.... The poor thing showed the CHECK BELT sign for 3-4 years... I drove the car in limp mode for 1,5 years... Nobody could tell me what that light was for... (newer trust a car mechanic... unless he is a family member... :D ) CHECK BELT!
