As part of a VA Lymphedema study, hubby was given one of these Flexitouch devices. They came to the house and also did a thorough tutorial on its proper use. We use it on my husband's lower limbs. I make it part of our quiet time together, and it is a nice way to encourage closeness with your mate. I also think when a family member is on board with the treatments, patients generally do far better. We live in a walk up building, so we use the stairs every day. He rides a bike for local errands here in downtown NYC. We watch our carbs, make diet changes in general, drink more water, and the program goes forward! My husband is doing fine, and on non-device days, I massage his legs using lymph drainage techniques, and his skin, and swelling are vastly improved!!
