Pulling baits clean out of fish mouth on the regular with EWG. Also listening to pros planned to switch to straight shanks. Now I'm thinking ringed offset worm hook will likely be the best of all worlds. We'll see

I've yet to find the ideal hook in forty plus years of fishing . I use straight shanks but dont snell them . Also ewg's and regular offset. I just cant identify the best one.

Hayabusa makes my favorite EWG hook. It’s medium gauge but doesn’t bend like the gamakatsus. It’s called WRM956. It’s all I use these days. They also make a narrow gap EWG for worms.
