I think it was Mad City Modern that took some purple house paint off a dresser and the wood underneath was _breathtaking._ Honestly the most beautiful grain I've ever seen and I live on furniture resto channels. We think the natural wood grain is beautiful today, but that's because today's fashion says it is. As some point in the life of this piece, fashion said that a painted surface looked better. That's why so many beautiful pieces were painted over. It's great that we can reverse that and interesting that our ideas of what is beautiful can change. Imagine what that says for people with tattoos.
