Just to help clear up some of Splitsie's confusion about which bot is which: The little four legged guys are runners, the 'smaller' two legged robots are hunters. The large four legged ones are harvesters, and the large two legged guys are tanks. The harvesters do indeed summon hunters to help them.

1:05:47 actually it's a grenade launcher, or in English nomenclature: Recoilless Rifle, the munitions aren't propelled by a rocket engine, they are fired using an accompanying charge that takes them in a ballistic path, the recoilless part indicates that the back part is open and will let part of the explosion escape that way to reduce the recoil of the charge. An RPG round is a Rocket Propelled Grenade and not a rocket/missile because it uses a rocket engine to launch the grenade ballistically out of the launcher, instead of by an explosive. A missile is rocket powered but would generally be guided in some way whereas a rocket is unguided and driven all, or most of the way to target.

@Splitsie, list of robots FNIX - Tick - small spider like that jump at you Seeker - hover scouts Runner - dog like Hunter - tall humanoid that can shoot and can melee with pneumatic blades Harvester - large grazing quadrupeds meant to gather resources (can call reinforcements) Tank - gigantic armless bipeds with heavy weapons and fast running speeds Soviet - Wolf - large treaded quadrupeds armed with gatling guns and missiles Lynx - a giant weeble (rolls around on a ball instead of legs) Firebird - similar to seekers but can fire support also FNIX come in 4 classes Prototype class - easiest with very little armour and low health Military class - easy to moderate - starting to armour up. FNIX class - moderate to hard, with greatly improved health pool and wide variety of weapons Apocalypse class - hard to extreme, reinforced armour plating... Soviet 3 classes Scout class - easy to moderate Soldier class - moderate to hard Spetsnaz class - hard to extreme and one other that i wont mention about for each side hope this helps to identify easier 🙂

The dark spots that you see in IR are the heaviest armor on the tank. us AP rounds or target the legs and weapons. once the one your targeting blows move to next target. That should help you take those down a bit better.

2:56:59 the weapons dlc, I remember they are in the blue box from mid tier map when you first play, you don't get it In the beginning,and you get same mid tier weapons from the dlc, so there are almost the same lvl you are

Okay here’s an explanation of ammo SP or soft point: just a regular lead ball. FMJ or full metal jacket: a regular lead ball with copper coating AP or armor piercing or black tip can be made in a number of ways usually with a more hardened metal ball or with a heavy metal core

I know what the reality of the ammo is, what I don't know is how the game expects it to translate to the damage on the bots

For the Tanks and Harvesters, focus on taking out their weapons first then you can take them apart slow time after that. Also flares, flares and more flares, keep pumping out the flares and fireworks, as soon as the the last one goes out throw another one, it will help distract the machines and give you more of a fighting chance

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if I'm expecting a faster outcome but it felt like every time I went for the weapons (except the ones on the top of the bots), I'd get nowhere and I'd never manage to shoot one off :(

What this game needs is the same systems that Horizon Zero Dawn also uses: ways to identify the soft spots of the robots (by highlighting it when you hit it, or maybe introduce goggles that will show them). It also needs to fix the accuracy of the weapons. I mean they're now all as accurate as a shotgun. The game has a good feel to it though. Weapon design & sound is really well done.

WHile I don't agree with their pricing for the dlc and how they handle it, what they give you is the weakest versions and you have to find anything better than that. Also I can't wait til they get to the actual strongest versions of the machines... lol

100 rounds in a robot? Oh how so far off you are, if you ever take on a Reaper or the new vulture well Bullet sponge is a title that fits them. XD Ranking for robots Ticks (small spiders) Runners ( Dog like robots) Hunters (humanoid robots) Harvesters ( Four leg robots with spike in middle) and Tanks ( large 2 leggers with dual weapons) As for colour classifications Orange ( Prototypes "easy") Army camo/green (Army "Medium") Red/Black (FNIX "Hard(ish)") and last is apocolipse which are mostly green in colour with Neon green canisters on them. Only Reaper (Biggest boss tank) is a class of its own.
