Not sure is you guys figure this out during the episode at some point, but in regards to your ammo confusion Soft Point Ammo deals more damage to components(weak points) and less to armored points. Armor Piercing Ammo is the reverse of Soft Point. It strips armor off quick, but does less damage to components. FMJ is a midpoint between both.

39:00 It's .243 Winchester, used for deer hunting, but it's a small caliber for it, the .308's little brother. Low recoil, high velocity not a lot of stopping power.

Flares and fireworks are your friends. Flares distract the robots and fireworks makes it hard for them to target you. Drop in a flare or fireworks at the beginning of combat , the robots will focus on that and you can come in and steamroller them. Also good for when you need breathing space for a medkit or when things get really out of hand and you need to pull a Sir Robin

.243 is caliber, it's either hundreds or thousands of an inch depending on how many digits after the period, and gauge is an older measurement, based on the number of lead balls used to make a pound, so 12 gauge is sized by taking a pound of lead and separating it into 12 same sized pellets, etcetera... With firearms, there are a fair number of archaic or esoteric measurements, like grains, and many different ammunition types are specified using odd systems, for example there are something like a dozen different 9mm calibers, though most aren't common anymore. Some more interesting examples are calibers like .45-70, and .30-40 Krag, in those cases, the first number is the bullet caliber and the second is the amount of black powder in grains that are in the cartridge case, except for the .30-30 rifle, because .30-30 was introduced shortly after the Advent of smokeless powder, and Winchester introduced it using the older style designation because it was more familiar to people. Another example is 7.62 NATO, and the Soviet calibers, in which 7.62 NATO is also known as .308 Winchester, and it's proper name is 7.62x51, While the Soviet cartridges are 7.62x39, the AK's cartridge, and 7.62x54r, the previous full power cartridge used by the USSR, that is of course not a complete or in any way exhaustive list of examples, you could spend multiple hours and days exploring the world of archaic and strange cartridges for different firearms, not to mention the guns themselves.

30-40 is smokeless, and an absolute bull of a cartridge. Also marlin pushed the 30-30 naming scheme, as to not have .30 WCF, or another mention of Winchester. Obviously, this backfired.

You can temporarily tag enemies (or whatever you're looking at) with 'G'. Enemy Marking is a skill in the Support tree.

The real reason you have a pile of weapons in your stash is because that storage inventory is shared across all character’s and all worlds. So resetting with a new character does nothing for that.

Unfortunately, there's no easy way of starting a completely new game. *Anything* you had in storage from prior game will be in your storage when you start again. The only way around it is to completely empty the Plundra, then delete all your characters, *then* start a new game.

pressing N will change ammo types which last time i played I think it defaults to the less powerful rounds, so for the guns that use bullets that will be hollow points, and for ones that use shells it's birdshot but that shotgun does use the buckshot, but will need it selected also Shotgun suppressors are a thing not just for this game but a real thing

You need to take a second between shots with a scope, time for your character to steady themselves for the next shot, that's why the shot you think should be hitting aren't.

FMJ damages armour better than Soft Point. Soft Point does more damage to components (like fuel tanks) than FMJ.

Sadly the dlc's ruined this game for me sense the base of being completely alone piecing together a story of what happened was much more survival to me. This is just a single player looter shooter now and just not fun unless played with others now.
