I love the idea of one cooking the other washing the dishes. I love to cook and hate washing the dishes. The only downside to my situation is .. All he does is wash the dishes. I grew up that you wipe down the counters, the stove top, microwave and sweep the floor. None of that other stuff gets done. I guess if he can do the dishes I can do the rest.

Probably the best presentation I have ever seen about stir-fried beef and broccoli. Excellent presentation! Making my first stir-fry tonite with a Kroger's wok - Imusa 14" "light" cast iron - right, it's a wee bit on the heavy side, but has a helper handle. My shoulders are a wee bit weak, so no way I can do like folks do on the internet. Gotta get that dark soy. Please keep up the excellent presentations. I saw some guy squeeze the begibbers outta the meat to get ride of someting. Best to you and your family and thank you! Mort in Dallas. Oh, like that lil spoon thing to toss the stir-fry.

This was my first attemp ever at velveting the meat in a maranade. I will forever use this method, now, because the beef was soooooo yummy! I added fresh green beans, onions, ginger, and mushrooms. This was a big hit at the table!

Flo, My nephew said he wanted some broccoli beef. Since he is so good to his Auntie I wanted to oblige him. This was my first time making it and I was scared I would screw it up. Flo girl it came out soooo good. I used flap meat ( that was all two stores had). I put the broccoli in boiling water for about 3-4 mins and added a little cube of ginger . Then after I was busy pigging out I realized I forgot to add the sesame oil. BUT it was good and Neph loved it. Thank you sooo much. God Bless

I always eat the stems too. When they are big they need to be peeled and with a knife, you pull the outer layer off. The stem is then chopped or sliced or even julienned to perfection. I know others will try but Flo, I know you "can't be bothered with all that". 😊 This looks yummy and one of my favorites!
