Okay, just made the Mee Goreng Noodles. I was hesitant, so many items I have not used before. It is great. I added a tad of Cayenne just to give it a bit more kick. Loved it. I will have to go through your cookbook that I bought and see what else I can do. The Egg Drop Soup that I did came out to $1.41 per serving, about 12 ounces in my bowl. Got 10 servings or so, forgot to count every time. Thank you so much. /// Just finished making and eating (most) of the noodles recipe. It came to $17.87, the cost per serving is $2.98 for a plate that is not small. I had five servings in the last two days and there is one serving left. I loved it. Compare to $20.00 to $25.00 per person for fast food, which is "supposed" to be cheap, there is no comparison. Thank you so much for helping me solve diet/nutrition and financial problems. Thank you, Thank you.

Greetings to you Flo from Perth in Western Australia 🇦🇺. I am originally from Malaysia and I tried this receipe. It came out well but it was a bit sweet. Our grandchildren loved it. I am going to try it again by replacing the kecap manis with caramelised dark sauce and omit the belachan and increase the sambal. I think the adults will love it. Mee goreng is a Malaysian word for fried wheat noodle and was a dish from the Islamic South Indian dish that was introduced into Malaysia and become popular also in Singapore, just for your info! It probably was a representation of the Chinese noodle dishes as this dish isn't found in India, however with the return of the Indian diaspora it can be found in Tamil towns!
