Located on the banks of China's rain-swollen Yangtze River, the city of Wuhan went on high alert on July 17, 2020, amid fears that surrounding waterways and lakes will rise and cause flooding. People in the central Chinese city where the coronavirus first emerged late last year, are now being warned to take precautions for another challenge, as water levels rapidly approached the highest levels that are considered safe.

I’m seeing a lot of hate comments about China in the comments section...however it’s not just China’s fault. The floods come every year all across Asia and there are a lot more reasons this flood is caused by. For example, global warming may cause sea levels to rise, which can lead to flooding. Also, these people are suffering from severe flooding and some are losing their lives. Shouldn’t we be praying for them instead of sending hate comments on how China caused their own problems?

Entire south east asia is quite in danger of floods this year. Need to make adjustments to tackle this natural disaster and optimise structures drainage pipe systems to tackle this natural disaster or manmade disaster (consequences), we can also use nature as a defensive approach by planting trees or something along those lines.
