Marla Gibbs' acting ability to go from anger and resentment to confusion and emotional pain to acceptance and understanding was convincing. And the lesson, Don't let hypocrites ruin your faith in God, is still timely. I wish I had had someone as wise as the minister in this story to reason with me when I found myself questioning God. I also wish that I could watch the whole episode.

I never saw this episode before, I'd love to see the entire episode uploaded. It seems all of us at some point have a crisis of faith, where you wonder if God is real since something really awful happened and you wonder why God allowed it to happen. Some people never recover from it, they become bitter and others like Florence, come to understand that God is still God and He still loves us even when bad things happen. Look at what happened to Job in the Bible. He never gave up his faith though he was so confused about why so many bad things had happened to him. But in the end his faith was rewarded.
