Thanks for the post. This brought back old memories of the first time I had vindaloo way back in, I think, 1978 when I was visiting Goa. If I remember right, it was pork vindaloo. It was very spicy.

Tried this recipe today. Its taste same like your pork vindaloo yummy. But i just wanted know how did you get a thick gravy consistency? I did grind my masala with less water and smooth. But still mine turned out to be a bit watery. Any suggestions how to get a thick gravy consistency?

Ma'am i liked your receipe very much but i made little changes mrinated chicken tumeric ,salt g.g pàste kept for some time ground d masala fried d marinated chicken ind fried onion so all d water evaporate chicken becme firm n cooked open once d chicken half cooked add d masala cook for some more time the grave n d meat remain alittle separate this too look ok

It’s an indulgent dish; the vindaloo is a recipe cooked for special occasions. There is no fear in the face of celebration. However, you can do it with less for health reasons :)

@@FlorencyDias just ate the dish for dinner. I find the cinnamon flavour overpowering. Next time I won’t powderize the cinnamon. I’ll just throw the stick in so the flavour isn’t too strong.
