We have the same boat with a 0520 not nearly as powerful as that boat. I’ve never even seen a gear reduction on a aircraft engine. Is this a newer thing people are doing now

Another way, Tie the stern to a tree or throw out an anchor and go park the truck. This is my favorite layout for seats bc all the passengers can get a good view too! Flush deck is nice. Metal work is first class. Needs only a Bimini top.

Real nice machine. I flew a hovercraft for 10 years and this seems like it would be a whole lot less maintenance. How do you stop it if you have to quick? On the hover i just dropped the lift power...Cheers, Jim...you've got me interested in one of these!

Thats an IGSO-540. injected , geared , supercharged , opposed. I worked on one of those in a beech queenair a long time ago.

It's not an IGSO. It's an IO-540 with a swamp boat gear on it.

Those queenairs dont mess around they squeeze every little bit of horsepower out of those lycomings as humanly possible
