The patchwork is so nice! When I saw your partially stitched piece that you want out of your life, I instantly knew what I would do with it lol! If it came into my life I would turn it as is into a little pillow or pin cushion. Filling it with crushed walnut shells and my favorite bit of incense (Indian Temple). Who wouldn’t want a bit of stitching from the illustrious Emily C. to admire?!

I saw on IG earlier that Buster had a good outcome at the vets; huge relief for all I’m sure. 👍 I love the patchwork quilt that was a prize on the Duck Derby a couple of years ago; so much so that I now have an interest in learning to quilt - as if you didn’t enable me enough with cross stitch! You are one of my favorites and when I get a notification then I have to make sure to have time and focus, no interruptions! Your stitching is gorgeous and think it should represent you, just as my pieces I change to represent me. If people have that to get upset with, well then you don't need them. I am working on my largest piece, Winter Rose Manor. It's taking forever. I'm afraid if I put it away then it won't get done and it's close. I want to be more of a sampler stitcher and I want to start a full coverage piece but I can't even get through this 😆 maybe I'm not ready. I love wrapping up with a patchwork quilt and stitching the evening away. Also, I don't know why but I love the Middle. It drives my husband crazy. It's just one of my comfort shows too. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us!! I have seen Buster update and YES!!!! Go Buster, Go!!

Also you were talking about how you have some subscriptions that you just love listening to for their soothing/calm voice, I feel that way about you. You just that low key calming tone with lots of sincerity and all the emotions. I just love your content. I also agree with replacing the religious saying out of the charts. I’m looking forward to seeing the quote you choose for Jane Atkinson! I’ve started collecting quotes to use in future samplers as well, and so far the one I’m most excited about is from Charles Darwin: “I am very poorly today and very stupid and hate everybody and everything.” That quote really helped me get through the last three months of a very challenging new job. I found it strangely comforting on my most poorly and stupid days. Can’t wait to pair it with the perfect sampler.
