I’m so glad you did a video and I found it! My dad used to build log houses, and even though I’ve never lived in one, and probably never will, I love them, and they have a special place in my heart. He’s in his 80s now… My sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. The things you have in your daily life as reminders of him, and that you use when making your beautiful crafts, are so lovely. I hadn’t seen your channel before, but I’m very excited to watch more of your videos. I loved everything about this video from start to finish! The lighting and sound were great, and things that some might see as imperfections (e. g., ceilings yet to be painted, hands😊), are, I think, wonderful things to see and know that everybody else has those too, and “life” (we literally also have a patch of ceiling to paint that might never get done as well). You go girl!!!! I was hesitant at first about doing videos because I was so new at returning to cross stitch and I had so many other hobbies to share my time. I encourage you to jump in and let me know when you post one. Think of it as just sharing what you would share with a friend who came to visit. You'll get an occasional negative comment, but that's rare. I just delete it and let the voices of those who want to visit with me sink in and those are the ones I think about when I'm chatting away at a screen!!!!

Welcome back,so nice to see you again..I didn't live in a log cabin,but where i grew up we had to carry our water from a spring to do everything,we also had a outhouse until i left there at 18 years old,after i graduated high school.We lived in N.Y.State in the country,so i know what you are speaking of.. Loved the tree and the frame goes so well with it.,good find.. Last night,rather 2#0 this morning i was on my way to bed,and when i got ready to turn off the tv,your face popped up on my screen saying you were back.I wanted to stay up longer and watch,but knew better as i had to get up earlier today,but i promised myself i would watch sometime today and that i did.Now i'm off to have dinner.Take care,stay safe,and GOD BLESS...

I'm so glad you got to come by for a visit and see my new sewing room and all the quilts I get to display!! The quilt on the wood shelf is quite a Frankenstein Quilt...meaning its lots of different designs combined to make that one. I'll share it in detail on my next Quilting Video, so I can share all the lovely changes I made and the closeup of the stitching. I should be doing that in the next week or so. I enjoyed your video so much! Loved your expression of faith at the end. I lost my husband 4 years ago to ALS and you are right - God is so good and he will never leave us. He guides us with his mighty right hand! My life is nothing like I thought it would be either. I’m at an age that I thought we would be busy planning our retirement. Instead I am a widow. (Still hate that word so much) His path for us is seldom what we think it will be. Yet I have seen His power, strength, comfort and blessings amid the storm and can say without a doubt that He walks with us through it all. I’ve missed you so much. I was ecstatic when I saw you. Life is hard for all us these days, but keep the faith, because the wars that are raging are not ours to fight, but We will be the victors. Montrose!! We are practically neighbors! I’ve been in Fruita for the past ten years. Love primitive decor, log cabin quilts and if I could stitch all day, every day, I would!!! I am relatively new to flosstube but have stitched since I was about 6! Happily found you today and hope to see much more of you!! I am so bummed we have NO cross stitch stores anywhere around that I’ve found. Other than Michael’s HobLob and Joann’s that is about it and only DMC is available. I’ve been calling fabric stores in the area telling them to watch floss tube and start dedicating a little corner of their shops to cross stitch. I haven’t been successful and all my money is leaving the valley because I have to order online! 🤞Again! So happy to have found you!!

Hey, so you get to live at the foothills of the gorgeous Monument!! I have a dear friend in Junction and for a while she had a home with a backyard view of the Monument. I love when it's light enough to see the Monument in the distance when I'm coming from the Utah direction and see it in all it's glory with a sunset. Thanks for trying to get the quilt stores to carry cross stitch supplies!! I do feel good when I can buy cross stitch from Etsy...but we have to shop where it's available, too.

I have stumbled upon you and I must say I enjoyed your video. I will go back and see how it used to be. I love that you shared your faith. God is great and wonderful and awesome. Just know He has your back. One day at a time is all you need to focus on. The rest presents itself at the proper time. I too craft many things. Love stitching by hand. I really appreciate your thought on being regular with my videos so you can see the progress of what I've been up to. I saw your comment come in yesterday and I've been thinking about how I can have some sort of a rhythm with them. I think I'll do one in the next day or two and just show the full finishes I've gotten done so far...which is quite a few!! Thank you!

Some of the people I watch are regular. Some do three or four times a week. Some do one day a week. I’m not an expert in this but even if it’s one day a week your videos will find the right people. Thank you for answering 😁. Have a good day!
