Pretty cool to see Klecker speed up because Kiptoo was trying to take over. Ended up just messing with him for an extra two minutes and helped Hoare out in the end with a great finishing time

1 minute is a lot when getting to this high level of racing. Although there were hills, a majority of the 2nd half of the race at running lane was down hill and you can never know how true a cross country course is.

13:09 is a whole different level than 14:03. 13:09 could get you to an Olympic final. 14:03 could barely get you to regionals in the NCAA

What terrible commentary! Never mentioned anything about national records, just repeated the top 3 over and over and over. How can you expect to convert fans to track and field if your announcers can't give them ANY context as to WHY what they are watching is exciting?
