I planted a ton of red and white astilbe last year., they are doing amazingly, I’m in love with them. 💓 I want to cut them for bouquets but I also want to keep them for myself just to stare at them every day.😍 Now I have to look for pink. 😋😍
@hollyjasinski72072 жыл бұрын
I also like to make bouquets at market while I sell. It seems I get more interaction when people see me working with the flowers- I often sell the bouquet in my hand before it’s fully made! I think it makes people feel like it’s made special just for them (which it is, of course 😉)! Thank you for all your videos, you inspire me with every one. You also give me fabulous motivation to get harvesting for tomorrow’s market. Lol 😂

Purple Twist for the WIN! In my experience, the self-seeded plants are superior and produce the best results. Ya gotta love a bed that sows itself every year! Can you imagine if you never ever had to plant another seed? And all you have to do every year is walk out and harvest, LOL! Great flower harvest & video. Have a beautiful weekend, Nicole!

I fall planted some tetra white feverfew and it was almost 4 feet tall when it bloomed a couple weeks ago, it was glorious (Same with the larkspur actually, it’s a full foot taller than the spring-sown ones 😊. I did cut a bunch of the side shoots off, I wish I had thought of mini kids bouquets at that time, I might try those for Sunday’s market. Thanks for the idea!

Hey darl, you probably don't remember me but you were a huge highlight of my life for quite a long time. I had to move out of my last home where I last grew flowers about a year and a half ago due to DV and many other issues. My daughter and I moved from place to place since, lived in very temporary accommodation including a caravan park and I really couldn't have my own garden. We finally found a place to call home and I'm excited for Spring to start making the garden sing to my heart again. You're doing amazing and are such a delight to watch/listen to. Stay awesome flower friend! With love from Australia 🇦🇺💜😘 P.S my daughter and I still call them dirty lillies 🤣

Love to see all of thse blossoms. Their colors are glorious and some are unusua,, like the bicolors. So pretty. In 8b Central Texas, we've had 29 days of triple-digit temperatures, so we are in survival mode, waiting for fall to plant again. Summer is when we hibernate like you do in winter.

How fabulous! As a new sub I've been binge watching to catch up! Beautiful flowers and a beautiful personality. You had me ROTFL with the talking flower. Such an inspiration to so many people. Was going to start a nursery but after one of your vids stating that anything sold with soil requires a fee and inspection, I've opted to start with just the cut flowers to see how well it's received in my little rural town in TEXAS! Good luck and many blessings on your new Nursery! So happy for you and your family.

Great video! Love to see all the different types of flowers! My Lavender were looking completely dead too. I cut them completely back to about 2", about 2 weeks ago, now they have grown all new branches. One is blooming, but I think I cut that one back in the fall. They are a bit small, but I think they will come back completely. I am in eastern ON, Canada. 5b. I like watching what you grow because you really have similar weather as I do. Even the temperatures are similar. Thank you for your videos! Always a delight! Eileen Oh yes! My Amaranthus self seeds too. I have never planted it. It started growing on its own about 10 yrs ago.

That’s why I had told you that your best bet is with the Hidcote English lavender.. That’s the only lavender I have been able to successfully overwinter in zone 4b, with very little/no coverage.. and they are just completely buried in four foot of snow and ice for four plus months. I’m wanting to try the Phenomenal Lavender... but I am not sure I’m willing to risk the price tags if they’re not going to survive long.. 🤪 🌱🤟🏻🙏🏻
