There's also a letter from Solas to the Inquisitor that you can get. It appears in the Codex. It's the sweetest thing.

If the Inquisitor romanced Solas... Vhenan, I do not know if you will see these words. My ritual is ready and will soon be set in motion. Perhaps when you read this the world will be as it once was, and you will see why all I did was necessary. I cannot ask your forgiveness, but I hope you come to understand. That night in Crestwood, when I shared the truth about your vallaslin... you do not know how close I came to breaking. I could have shared the truth, or even put my plans aside and simply stayed with you as Solas... as I wanted. I regret the pain I caused you. What I feel for you will never change. @@francisco646 eh that's debatable. We've been told many times that the Fade reflects what its dreamers make of it, so Solas' prison is full of regrets because he's full of regret. But if Lavellan is there with him, I think he won't be able to override the love they have for each other, especially now that he's atoning at last.

I can admit i really like Veilguard, it is pretty fun to play, yes theres stuff I hate but that doesn't ruin the whole experience. It was a pretty neat surprise to the Inquisitor return in this game. There is one thing that would've made it better: to fight alongside the Inquisitor in battle, just like with Hawke in the Fade section in Inquisition. That would've been awesome to see

I want the ending where Solas tears down the Veil and restores the old world. I would have helped him 10 years ago and still would today. Elves are going to be even more hated and abused after their gods wrecked the world. And now they don't even have their old ways and faith to sustain them. This game took everything from everyone.

Also they conveniently forgot that the spirits (who solas sees as people) are still traped behind the veil? You know, one of his main reasons to taking it down in the first place. So they could be free and not be twisted and turned into demons like his friend in DA:I ? Also the ancient elves? They're gonna just die now and solas is completely cool with that?

​@@wolfg3r he says in argument with Elgarnan that all other ancient elves are dead (presumably killed by Elgarnan) and in one of dialogue options (in redempting Solas tree) Solas makes your point about spirits, then Rook says that it's just another one of his justifications and Solas admits that yes, spirits would also suffer if the Veil was to be torn down. I would like tearing the Veil down ending too, though

Seeing as they were able to hold off corypheus and his forces I'm pretty sure they would be able to at least hold their own with Elgarnan, at least until help arrived? Also they supposedly joined solas along with other dalish to become his agents at the end of inquistion? Solas interactions with rook in the fade prison can be interpreted as a lie, as he was manipulating them to take his place there, so I take every interaction between the two with a grain of salt.

I've read that the whole Agents of Fen'Harel business was resolved/explained in books or comics but I've not read them myself so idk. But I'm certain he doesn't lie about spirits hurting since he says it in the very final conversation (it's "This won't help anyone" phrase)

I'm sorry to say, but this dialogue (I'm talking about the first scene) honestly feels like it's soulless AI talking as Lavellan, with the only goal to retell us what happened in the past. No emotion at all. Like... It sounds so unimmersive and out of character. Why would the Inquisitor even tell Rook she had a romance with Solas and in such detail? Isn't it supposed to be personal and painful to speak about? Not to mention, the Inquisitor with her experience has to know better than trust with her feelings to people she barely knows. Inquisition had incredible writing on Solas romance, but unfortunately from what I've seen in the Veilguard... I don't feel like it's done them justice as they deserve :(
