I gutted a 6lb hen with a huge guts that was full of big crunchy lumps after you mentioned they could be koura, but they were pieces of pumice about 20cent coin size. Totally missing the point. You can catch fish, and even see and take a pic (underwater GoPro style), without risking the fishes life. That way someone else can catch it again.

@melstar91344 жыл бұрын
You can keep up to 6 trout per day but they must exceed 35 cm in length measured from tip of the nose to the dip in the fork of the tail. These guys believe in conserving the fish. Its debatable whether conservation is needed in these Taupo rivers which carry huge numbers of trout, but extra care is required on many remote wilderness rivers.
@TroutHuntingNZ4 жыл бұрын
Yeah as melstar says. Heaps of trout in there and more probably need to be taken but I prefer not to kill fish I just like catching em. And it helps that I am an angel

There actually 12 ft leaders. But the indicator is set a little deeper the the depth fished. The hook removed is edited out because it’s a bit boring and rearly in frame. Also you assumptions make me assume your a knob.
