Plenty of beginners in radio both text and videos but Peter Parker has lots of stuff on how to get started and also using and making use full simple things that can be done with minimal tools and easy to get parts and also using junk parts that cost nothing. Centered on the Australian scene but would be relevant in most places, also has some good books to cover the basics that would be a good start. Lots of information but not to technical. kzbin.infovideos
