This just makes me smile, I got married in Vegas (little white chapel) 2 1/2 years ago. I live 'on the Wirral' so nothing has ever came near to how big and awesome Vegas was. Watching this has brought back lots of happy memories!

I wish I could be as carefree and nonchalant about traveling, let alone traveling by myself, as you are! When you said you were on your own in Vegas for the first day and that you were excited like a kid to go to the shops, I was like, "I want her brain..."....in the least creepy way possible. I just wish I had that same thought process because I would freak out traveling/being alone somewhere so far from home.

When I was in High School, I got the opportunity to travel by myself for the first time (I was 18) the day before the trip I was freaking out. And my brother told me something that helped me quite a lot. He said that I shouldn't feel like that. And that I was going to a place were they spoke the same language as I did. Not to mention it wasn't my first time there. He was sure I will be okay. He got to travel at 18 too, but he went to other countries were they spoke a different language. So that gave me strength and confidence and I did just fine. I love traveling, I do it as often as I can. Don't be afraid and try it! Besides, it's easier to travel by yourself. That way you decided where to go and when to go. It's more fun that way :)

kbecks123 yes, and you can also start small. Visit a different city in the are somewhere, Go sightseeing and shopping, have lunch and go back home i the evening. People will find, travelling by yourse;f is not that much different.

I travel alone for work quite regularly and have travelled for holidays on my own too. You get used to it after the first couple of trips and I quite like it. I flew out to Las Vegas on my own last year for a wedding. It was my third time in Las Vegas and this time I stayed at the Aria and it was amazing. I definitely recommend...

I can't believe it, we were on holiday out there at the same time, and went to Vegas on the 22nd June, I'm gutted we missed you. Wasn't it hot though, 105 degrees when we were there. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe for a meal.
