This plane has evolved into an incredible airplane through its various variations and models. I was SOCATA marketing product manager for the TBM700 in the mid 80s when it was developed by SOCATA with Money and this latest version is way more than what we had envisioned at the time. Many fun memories working with the TB and TBM teams. Daher's team has really brought that plane to a higher level than we ever dreamt of. Kudos and keep the good work going!

Always pilot deployed. However if you have it on when you shut down the aircraft, it will automatically revert to the off position when you turn power on -- which is where you want the IS for a start.
