I finally found it. A person is just as bad as I am at flying. Haha. Keep your head up, it'll all make sense to you one day. All of a sudden it'll just snap into place. But you got a good plan to start with learning on. She's pretty resilient and easy to fix.

It’s slowly starting to make sense. Been playing with a flight simulator on my iPad a bit and it’s helping. Fortunately I enjoy the repair and building process too lol. Thanks for watching my silly videos

I can tell from this video that leaning actually helps!!! Thanks for the great tip! I'm going to try it on my next landing! Thanks so much. 😊

😂😂 my flying goal is to some day be proficient enough that I stop leaning while I fly!!!

@@mitch_s Hey, I'm just getting started in this marvelous sport. I'm learning something new every day. You look totally proficient to me! I really enjoyed the video. That will be my next plane! Looks like great fun to fly.

@@reidrepairs5837 jump in.. the hobby is a hoot. The AeroScout is my first plane. I’m super new to this too. I probably have about 30 mins of actual flying time. I have some other videos posted about my experience fixing it. The flying community is pretty good group. I have received some great suggestions on how to fix it up. Good luck flying!!

Threading the needle between goalposts…not that easy. Well done! Nice camera angles. Repairs look solid. I was told by a fellow pilot that I used to semi squat when I was landing when I was learning. Whatever helps, I guess. 👏🏻👍🏻

Thanks Randy! I clipped those posts a couple times. I wish I had been filming when I did that, it would’ve made a good demonstration of how tough the plane is. It has been nasty winter weather lately so no flying. Instead, I’ve been building bigger wings for the plane to see if I can get it to fly slower lol.

@@mitch_s 🍀🤞🏻 Good luck. Should be interesting. I built skis for mine, for the few non windy winter days we have here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5bdfnWAf8x7htE

In time you will lean less and fly better. A small, small amount of down elevator on taxi and takeoff roll will help the plane steer better, with tricycle landing gear, small up elevator with tail draggers. The trick with both is the change from deflection to neutral to up for takeoff gradual and not abrupt or excessive.

Hey there @@jeffs7915. Thanks for the tip about takeoffs! I think I’m still in the panicking more than flying mode is why I pull up so abruptly. I see it headed for tall grass and it’s not off the ground yet. I probably should back up a bit before taking off. I’m definitely having fun, and I am looking forward to calmer days that I can try again.

Lol Bob. Just a noob trying to learn the hard way.

Yes, the learning curve is huge especially in learning to program the transmitters. @@mitch_s
