Great video! What cable length(s) do you recommend for getting 3 pedals next to each other next to an FM9?

Length won't really matter in terms of functionality. Just make sure they can comfortably reach the pedal jacks and also the expression pedals on stage or your pedalboard.

Also mention that if you plug the TRS cable only 1/2 way in then volume pedal may work backwards! Check your cable if there is a problem.

Hi Rosh. Is it possible to use an expression pedal to activate a scene and use it as a wah at the same time. Example I'm on a rhythm scene and want to change to a different scene for a solo where I need to use the wah as well. I want to avoid having to press a footswitch to change the scene and then move my feet to the wah. Thank you for your tutorials :D

Yes, you can set the scene increment or select feature to a CC# and also set the expression pedal to the CC# and just limit the range of the expression pedal from 0-7 (or whatever scenes you're trying to toggle between)

So..my volume is still active even when I select a wah or a Formant..so how do I resolve this? Using an EV-2 into an FM9Turbo.

You most likely have set the volume pedal to a global volume expression pedal (as per the manual) you'll need to disable that globally before using the expression pedal to control a different function. it has to be set in a per-preset basis if you want your expression pedal to control different effects in different presets.

I’ve done all this up to the point to where the FM9 is “Learning” and it’s been over an hour..what am I doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Found my problem..but now my volume pedal won’t stop being a volume pedal..a wah or Formant is useless…halp! Lol

Use TRS cables to connect from an expression input to the expression jack on an expression pedal.
