Thanks Terry, putting out videos we’d actually wanna watch ourselves. Not recycled, not holding back, etc. The good thing is we’re not caged up and can try different things than the norm. Good content doesn’t have to be boring and can be shared with heart and finesse.

Really appreciate this video and interview, I've always been very impressed by GM Nene, everyone I have trained with in the Philippines always speaks so highly of him, incredible to watch his performance too, inspirational. Many thanks to GM Nene and for uploading this video

Thanks Simon, yes it’s great to put out a video that shares a deeper insight into GM Nene and his flavor of Balintawak. It’s just a taste of what he can offer, we had to omit some clips from the video, otherwise the video would be even longer, lol. He definitely has a unique take when you touch sticks/hands with him.

I had the good fortune to have studied with multiple masters (of different arts). They were ALL soft spoken and humble too.

It’s our honor to share with the world what GM Nene was willing to share publicly. It’s great to see people beyond the interview and techniques into some of their daily life.

It's funny what he says about the politics because it's the same problem in all the styles, I fully agree with that problem, just remember they only embarrass themselves when most practitioners know the leanage history of the styles, they just make themselves look bad, so in the end they get nowhere and no credit following that sort of thinking, don't worry GM those that follow that never truly learn or embrace the true art of eskrima.
