@@MonsterPrincessLala I think it's confidence when Fuhnaff is responding to Matt calling him out on something he is equally at fault for doing in his own theories. It's just a good bit of back and forth. He has back down on parts of his theory that are wonky, but if he thinks his theory has merit he needs to he able to defend it long enough to continue to video and not have Matt trying to tear it apart on assumption and making decisions before the evidence is presented. Matt is just as able to be biased as anyone else and it feels good to hear someone call that out. On the videos where they just reacted without Fuhnaff, Matt came across very... dismissive before even getting to the evidence, as if he hasnt had some really out there claims himself.

I love how they're arguing toes and body shape for if the Funtimes could be using illusion disks to be Nightmares, when the books straight up show the illusion disks can make very crappy robots on rails look like a human woman and child to a person. Illusion disks have so much plot power that the original thing doesn't have to look ANYTHING like what it's trying to look like
@Joe-cc9it
@Joe-cc9it Жыл бұрын
I think the big issue is its unclear what illusion discs actually do. Yeah it can look totally different but then you get to like, footprints and the like at which point you have to ask 'do they physically shift the fundamental shape of the matter at hand. In my opinion it'd be dumb if they do, but then you get into babies like 3 forms in the book of human, big baby, slender baby. Ultimately they're no desperately clear and in the franchise with faz goo I think getting straight answers on lore without massively cleaning up how these things work is always gonna lead to the issue theyve got right now.

I think arguing feet is really the only worthwhile argument for this particular instance simply because: the illusion discs are just an illusion. They don’t change what toes/feet the original animatronic has. If we were talking about the character fitting somewhere, that’s a different conversation for the same reason as above.
@bryangiron5354
@bryangiron5354 Жыл бұрын
Because there’s an endo skeleton the toes feet and finger are the only real absolutes of the body. The illusion wraps around the endo so things like the number of limbs can’t be changed only the appearance of them if that makes sense
@hodgiaparnell3307
@hodgiaparnell3307 Жыл бұрын
The illusion disk wouldn't change the footprint the animatronic would leave behind but yes I agree the body shape wouldn't matter. Still... how certain are we that scott actually cares about how many toes his animatronics have and keeping that consistant throughout retcons of his own lore (after dream theory and all).

Like in the twisted ones, who captures Charlie in the main series: Lefty. This also fits with John’s idea of how the story fits in terms of Scott’s story telling, and Lefty is very similar looking to Funtime Freddy. Just a thought.

Afton saying "I will put you back together" after the bite makes more sense if crying child is already a robot. Who puts a human back together? It makes more sense to put a broken robot back together. While William is out killing Charlie, human crying child is lured out of his room and is killed. This is after Elizabeth died, but since she already inhabited Baby, she cannot be 'put back together" in the same way crying child can. Crying child is a failed experiment during fnaf 4 because his brother gets him "killed". Idk, its a wild theory. This is going entirely off of the video so this is just me assuming based off of their points.

I think John figured out Security Breach Ruin DLC from this video. When he talks about how Funtime Freddy has a "mimic/luring" ability and the blob in Security Breach specifically uses Funtime Freddy's faceplate etc, I think what Matt said was true and that it's not Gregory calling for help at all. Instead it's Funtime Freddy AKA the blob mimicing Gregory instead.

38:32 - let’s assume that these discs function the same way as sub-sonic signals. The subsonic signals do not create illusions, but influence the brain to create illusions on its own. If Afton figured out how to tune these to lure children, then fun time Freddy wouldn’t be creating the image of golden Freddy, but encouraging the victim to see him as their favorite character, which just so happens to be golden Freddy. If FTF was seen by Michael as well, he would be seeing foxy instead, since that’s what he wants to see

i actually quite like his theory. especially with funtime freddy having illusion disks, the ability to take kids (like baby), and the proximity to the house (since sl is underneath) the parallels also make sense to me. especially since elizabeths favorite animatronic, which betrayed her, was baby. having funtime freddy disguised as the crying childs favorite animatronic to teach him a lesson could be what happenened. like elizabeth dies-> william gets paranoid and sends funtime freddy (disguised as golden freddy) to scare crying child, to see if he would make the same mistake as elizabeth and follow the animatronic. he would be captured and then “escape” with a new knowledge that golden animatronic bears are very dangerous and he needs to stay away. this is whats being referenced in the part where william in psycic friend fredbear says smt like remember what happened last time. and it would add to the fear he had when foxy bro (i think thats what hes called, also theorized to be kid michael) brought him to the golden freddy, he thought he was about to be swallowed in its stomach but instead he got chomped. only thing i dont know about is the window being broken, could have been to add to the fear factor. as for the nightmare animatronics, one thing i find intresting is that there was the theory we play as michael in fnaf 4. il right after his brother dies william uses the nightmares to make him fearful (and also partly as revenge) of both animatronic stomach openings (which killed his sister) and golden freddies (which killed his brother). just throwing it out there, idk though thats just my interpretation
