This is the third video in a new Hyper Droid Five Nights at Freddy's series, called FNAF: Unsolved Mysteries - a series where I attempt to answer (or at least provide all the information I can give for) FNAF's biggest Unsolved Mysteries without wasting any time. This video goes through a question we thought we had the possible answer to after the FNAF Survival Logbook came out, revealing the name Cassidy to us as the 2nd animatronic possessing Golden Freddy. But the Fazbear Frights story: The Man in Room 1280 - gave us a different name to work with. So today we're going to go through a few questions and information all to do with Golden Freddy. First of all, how do we know 2 spirits possess it and does that actually work? Secondly, is Fredbear the earlier version of Golden Freddy / are the two the same? Thirdly, are we sure Golden Freddy is possessed by The One You Should Not Have Killed and they're not seperate entities? Finally, who is the identity of the 5th victim of the Missing Children's Incident / The One You Should Not Have Killed (TOYSNHK) in Ultimate Custom Night? This is Season 1, Episode 2.
Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie video game series and media franchise created by Scott Cawthon, later adapted by Steel Wool Studios and Illumix. It has further grown to big platforms such as Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo with Console Ports, also reaching all Mobile platforms and all Computer platforms. The video game series currently has 10 games, FNAF, FNAF 2, FNAF 3, FNAF 4, FNAF 5/Sister Location, FNAF 6/Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, FNAF: Ultimate Custom Night (FNAF: UCN), FNAF VR: Help Wanted, FNAF AR: Special Delivery and FNAF: Security Breach. Also note: Cassidy is a gender neutral name which also means "curly hair". If we really want to say TOYSNHK is a boy and their gender does matter in this debate, then there's an easy explaination for any of the "he" pronouns. Although the female voice of TOYSNHK would suggest otherwise. I don't know how I didn't notice, but yes the Intro will be turned down in Episodes 4+! Is Fnaf 4 partly dream or completely real or even a game and who do we play as. The medical equipment would imply the crying child. But a drawing of nightmare fredbear appears in the logbook which was owned by mike. But all of the nightmare animatronics also somehow appear in help wanted which is video game. Fredbear could make sense because the logbook but how would Fazbear entertainment know about the other nightmare animatronics. Also if Fnaf 4 was a dream why would the fnaf 4 map show up in sister location. It almost feels unsolvable

There's one thing I've always wondered, but don't know if there is an answer: Why are golden freddy and the puppet special? All other animatroincs seem to obey vaguely the same rules or have the same powers. Why do those two have special powers (teleportation, flying, "giving life", whatever the vengeful spirit is doing to afton)?

@@christofferthorsson607 well, Charlie saw her body when she was reborn in the puppet, so SHE WAS AWARE of how reincarnation works, so she just put the bodies of the other kids in the animatronics; the others though, haven't seen their bodies when they were reborn into the animatronics, so they didn't know what was going on. About cassidy being some sort of ghost the only thing I can say is that the fredbear suit is in suit mode, not animatronic mode, so a spirit can not move the suit, hence why she is just a ghost representing the suit in which she was put in

Cassidy is definitely the Vengeful Spirit (The One You Should Not Have Killed), as William Afton never killed the Crying Child, so it wouldn’t really make since for the Crying Child to be, “The one you should not have killed.” The cutscene of Golden Freddy twitching whilst fading away symbolizes Cassidy’s anger and hatred towards William, and could mean two things: it could mean that she’s finally decided to let go and find peace, or that she’s never letting go of her hatred, and she refuses to find peace. The reason that I believe Cassidy is implied to be a male in _Ultimate Custom Night_ is because, regardless of the gender of her spirit, the characters in _UCN_ are likely referring to the gender of the animatronic, Golden Freddy/Fredbear (if you’ve watched MatPat for a while, then you’re probably familiar with this subject). Finally, let’s talk about Andrew. Drew is a parallel to Cassidy, and the _Fazbear Frights_ novel series has made this quite clear (assuming that you believe everything else that I’ve been talking about). This is just my interpretation of the Vengeful Spirit, and I’m hoping that there are others out there who can agree with me. Thanks for reading!

I absolutely respect your opinion :) I do not believe in cassidy=TOYSNHK cause in the voice lines the animatronics make clear that they're referring to TOYSNHK and not to an animatronics, plus the freddy files literally says that the vengeful spirit is a BOY, anyone who has the freddy files can confirm. Yeah yeah I know that there is no proof that afton killed the crying child, but if the cassidy theory is based on "Oh afton killed cassidy so now she's angry" why would the vengeful spirit not be Gabriel, or fritz, or jeremy? To me the crying child=Vengeful spirit makes more sense but nothing is confirmed and sadly it will never be confirmed :')

Yeah I was gonna ask, do we have any confirmation that game Cassidy is a girl? From what I understand people are drawing that conclusion from the book Cassidy, who is described as looking completely different from what I understand, and princess quest, where it's entirely possible that despite the sprite being named Cassidy to symbolize their actions that the sprite is literally just a game character

I think Cassidy is the "one you should not have killed" given that (to my knowledge) Andrew only appears in man in room 1280 (aka only in the books) while Cassidy has made multiple appearances in the games even in SB (through princess quest games). while Andrew's name hasn't been brought up since. Plus we all know by now the books aren't 100% canon to the games, with that, there have been multiple times when Scott has used characters in the books to represent characters in the games and events. leading me to think that Andrew is just a representation of Cassidy in the books. Conclusion: Andrew is a 'stand-in' for Cassidy in the books. IMO the Cassidy vs Andrew debate is just fnaf fans digging too deep into the lure which is totally understandable, especially with all the mysteries in SB which has everyone questioning everything about the lure.

You're absolutely right about the topic of The One You Should Not Have Killed (TOYSNHK)'s gender. Not only did Scott Cawthon want to cast a female voice actor for the role of the Vengeful Spirit, but he also _purposely_ wanted to confuse the _Five Nights at Freddy's_ (FNaF) community about the gender of TOYSNHK, similar to how he wanted to confuse the _FNaF_ community with the gender(s) of Mangle, Funtime Foxy, and Lolbit.

Read The Fouth Closet Graphic Novel. On page 182, Carlton sees the kids from the missing children’s incident and one of them, Michael, (not to be confused with afton Michael) points to the other kids and says (and I quote) “That’s Susie! Cassidy! And Gabriel!” C A S S I D Y!!!! Excluding Michael, all of the kids mentioned are the same from the gravestones in fnaf 6, showing that they’re the same kids! This shouldn’t even be a debate anymore. It’s literally fact.

To your pinned question, we know perhaps Golden Freddy having 2 spirits cause the logbook shows 3 people interacting with it. Red inks are Mike, faded texts are Cassidy, and a couple pages plus the word search shows a 3rd which many think it's Crying Child doing it. How does it work? FF's Stitchwraith showed us it worked with Jake and Andrew sharing the same body. The 5th child is Cassidy, Fnaf 2 death mini game "Give gift, Gift life" shows puppet giving gifts to the main 4 animatronics and for a split second before Golden Freddy's Jumpscare, there is a 5th child in the center of the room.

I don't see how this disproves Andrew from being the vengeful spirit since we weren't even meant to see the voice casting, and as for the gender being ambiguous in the voice lines it could very easily just be that the role of this character wasn't supposed to immediately be clear to us. If Scott was trying to confuse us on the gender, why do we only hear he/him pronouns in the game? Why didn't he use she/her as well, or they/them? The stories are also meant to solve things from the past games such as the shadows being agony creatures, the bite victim being possibly named Evan, and the MCI being in the year 1985. It's like Scott said, some questions will be answered by the Frights.

Me personally I think there at least three spirits in the Golden Freddy suit: Crying Child, Cassidy, and Luis. If you’re wondering where I’m getting Luis from I explain on my channel that the code that gets you to Cassidy also gets you Luis GF (GF being the abbreviation of Golden Freddy) when unscrambled. And going by what matpat said in one of his GF theories it’s possible that there are more than two spirits in the suit.

The books are mostly presenting parallels providing hints, so Andrew is Cassidy's equivalent in FF. People also forget that this community spent ages arguing over the Mangle, as in, arguing about the gender of a pile of garbage. The thing is, we've always called versions of Freddy "he", versions of Bonnie "he", versions of Chica "she", etc, based on the pizza chain mascot characters that these robots were meant to represent in universe. Fredbear/Freddy Fazbear is male, Chica the chiken is female, etc. Neither of them are actually real in universe. They are made up characters. The really physically existing robots (in universe) only *represent* these characters, but we've still always called them the gender of the character they represent, and all of the Mangle's discussion (since the Mangle doesn't actually have a gender) ultimately always boiled down to discussions about Toy Foxy's gender. However, let's be real, instead of Chica, the first dead body could have been put into Freddy or Bonny, easily. For the longest time, we had no clue about the identities of the dead children. For all we knew, the spirit posessing, for example, Chica, could have been a boy all along. How do people honestly think after the great Mangle wars, were people were arguing about , again, *_the gender of a pile of mismatched robotic trash, a lifeless object that wasn't even confirmed to be posessed or if so we wouldn't know by who or what_* (until FNAF 6 if you accept the dead dog Mangle theory and assume that William calling the dog a male was accurate), that Scott would not troll the same community that did that by misdirecting us about a child's gender?

This is a great video, I watched it twice. I just feel there is evidence you need to go back pertaining to the UCN Purgatory Theory. The book does give underlying evidence to suppor your theory but in that minigame like matpat states, the audio in the minigame does sound like someone is screaming mike. First thing to note: we saw a stuffed kid in fnaf 4, at.. fredbears for some dang reason. Not in Freddy’s which wouldn’t make sense cuz we know the five missing kids died stuffed in suits(most likely fnaf 2.) Another thing to note: nobody’s questioning the person who said “I will put you back together” would actually be the same person who helps us in fnaf world? And how UCN directly connects to fnaf world as did fnaf 3? There’s more I wanna mention but only if it makes people curious.

In my opinion the other soul's name is Evan, MatPat does a very good job explaining this, in one of the fazbear frights books it says the main character's uncle had a brother who was "robotic-like," or something of that nature, and this uncle's name is Evan. And if Foxy Bro is indeed Michael Afton, who is the purple guy with pants and controlled by Ennard, hence being "robotic-like," so while Evan may or may not possess Golden Freddy, I believe that is his name. Also in the books the two souls in the stitchwraith show that two souls can indeed possess one animatronic.

Just putting this out their the give gifts give life minigame got changed in the end scene of fnaf PS. It shows all the costumes but with no Cassidy/Andrew or crying child. Which is weird since PS was suppost to clarify the story of the original afton timeline. Also it's doubled down by Chica saying she was the first in UCN.

It doesn't necessarily, what we saw was just 1 frame out of the whole minigame, it was more a connection to what Henry was saying at the moment, rather than the actual event as it goes, and we now that the 5th body only appears for a few frames between putting the 4th mask and the GoldenF jumpscare

FNAF fans desperately need to learn Occam’s Razor Edit: Imma be fr, Andrew’s only purpose is further render Cassidy unimportant, despite them being shown as an extremely important character and to take one of the ONLY FUCKING pieces of repeatedly confirmed lore ( five missing kids) and the entirety of Stitchline, tbh, only retcon the story to justify it existing, and literally solves nothing but the year of the MCI and then proceeds to retcon it horribly. It solving UCN is debatable cause there would literally be no way to solve shit until Frights came out, 2 YEARS LATER. Deciding the Vengeful Spirit is something that would be objectively unsolvable yet seeding the idea that it’s the opposite does nothing but needlessly fuck everyone over. Especially since even under Stitchline, Andrew is effectively introduced in Frights so would have ZERO clues to his existence prior, unlike characters like Michael, William, Elizabeth and Springbonnie being the yellow suit in Grand Reopening, it adds to information that, while yes, wasn’t planned or available at the time, is also unclear and uncertain while still being possible within the timeline. I never understood the andrew theory the stich raith saga is apart of the FF/TFPP universe and not the game’s universe. I allways thought andrew was just like Michael (Unrelated to afton) in the original novel trilogy.
