I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed they didn't talk about all the Alicorns that appeared on the walls of the temple. It depicted what looked to be an entire kingdom/tribe of Alicorns, which makes me wonder: was that temple a home or gathering place for Alicorns? If so, what happened that made them abandon it? Or did they abandon it? Did something happen that made them all die out? And what was so special about the treasure, exactly? Was Daring Do fetching it for Princess Celestia, who's been secretly searching for the missing Alicorns? Course that's all just speculation, and I would have liked hearing Josh's thoughts on it, but oh well.

Maybe that one scene when Celestia battles Nightmare wasn't the first time when Luna transformed. During Lullaby for a Princess by Ponyphonic, one scene showed that Luna had transformed into Nightmare Moon in her bedroom before Celestia had even fully matured. This gave me the idea that Luna might have gone through "episodes" when she transformed into Nightmare Moon, and ponies might have seen her during these transformations. The episodes would vary in strength depending on Luna's resentment towards Celestia, so Nightmare Moon would not actually have the strength to dethrone Celestia until her emotions were at her peak, hence the swirling ball of red energy. The ponies seeing Luna's transformation could have created a story to fit the strange events, and since Nightmare was so powerful, it might have ended up on a temple wall. This would explain why the picture of the alicorn is not exactly clear but resembles Nightmare Moon and that even though the battle only lasted about two minutes, ponies could have seen Nightmare Moon and even made an entire holiday about it. Who knows, maybe Nightmare Moon even showed up in their dreams after she was banished, like in Best Fiends Forever form IDW Comics. Wow, I just wrote an entire paragraph of pure headcanon. That's just sad.

13:03 Oh let me tell you about a little Experience I had with Portal 2, and a mod called Portal Stories: Mel. For Portal 2 I was at the end of the game (probably a good three fourths through at this point), had played portal 1 to death, and I had gotten to a part I had no clue how to get through...Turned out, I needed to shoot a portal...into the ONE portal-able wall tile in the room...yeah. I can tell you how Daring missed the mark...over thinking. Portal Stories: Mel on the other hand had a similar situation. I can't remember that one exactly, but it was another case of over thinking the situation and completely forgetting there was an easy solution. I know for a fact this happens a lot in the gaming community because you can look at almost any let's play or streaming channel and see this a lot.

I think that luna was unconsciously terrorizing the ponies of equestria in their dreams i believe for a long while nightmare moon was like a werewolf she came out at night not in a physical form but in the dream realm at that time luna didn't yet realize she could dream walk so her bad dreams wasn't much of a worry till after she was reformed and finally realize the trauma she had caused to the ponies of Equestria ( which is why in the episode Royal problem she said this could have terrible effects on Starlight psyche because of what she had done before ) she felt so much guilt that she created the tanabus to punish herself for that but also made the choice to use her abilities to help sleeping ponies face their nightmares

12:04 In response to Firebrand's comment about the conflict between Celestia and Nightmare Moon being less than 5 minutes long, I like to believe that what we saw in Twilight's flashback was not the whole story. The flashback was a vision that was meant to show Twilight only what she needed to see in order to figure out the solution to the problem that Equestria was facing. Basically, it was a series of highlights. No battle ends with the opposing sides just taking a few potshots and each other. I want to think that if none of the superfluous content was cut from the vision, the battle might have taken days or even weeks. The same goes for the other vision that Twilight had about the sisters encountering Discord, discovering the Tree of Harmony, and then using the Elements to turn him to stone. If ever an FiM prequel is made based on the lore of Equestria that has been written, I want to see a much longer battle. This is coming from someone who is a stickler for continuity.

Eh By the same point as that Opinions that Matter being built from Facts and are backed by Logic, so too in turn why that matters such that we can say and see "For what cases and in what ways things apply." *Things can be **_situationally true_** and something else in turn not per say required to be wrong if false.* By the same point of AUs and so why it can (kinda) be ok with what Disney is doing with their SW 'AU movies. The EU stands and will stand as the _Established_ canon for StarWars for those who support the Franchise, yet as a separate thing from the Original Trilogy & Versions of + those things and works based on them The sorta-reboots are able to be their own things as part of a greater Multiverse / Collection. *(while being also judged on their own in a vacuum that isn't part of the core series, lolz) Same as such with for Political views and Theology to such a point, such where views and ideals are built upon things that can be debated or discussed logically and humanly as part of a greater grander absolute that transcends all of it since *after all "God and Truth are Absolutes and the Truth shall be upheld."* *As such it is fine to have or hold any opinion you want on something built as can upon facts of reasoning.* - even if simple in nature. Such you can say "This is what I think or believe" and "these things are why." In the end the final truth or truths for all things is above any one of us, with a better more Facts-&-Logics built opinion being likely closer by far to it in some ways than ones of "because I say so and that is just my opinion.", lolz And that is an ok if very good thing. It means we don't need to war over every tiny thing we disagree on... (cause in the end truth is absolute with no need to care what anyone thinks. lolz) ^~^

So basically if you like anything about the show, even if it's just seeing how many variations they can make of the same base design, you're a fan. For the record, that's not my reason, just an example. I don't really know what makes me a fan, aside from just liking cartoon shows. My dad used to make fun of the fact that I watch it and said that he hoped I wouldn't suggest watching it for a first date.
