Another great video again Andrew. A good turn out of cars too. I will get round to changing the exhaust heat shield on mine (if I can find one). It was nice to see a RS focus at the meet too.

What a splendid turnout again Andrew and good to see some different cars. Carl's pacific Green saloon is exceptional and he has spent a lot of time doing dome gentle modifications. So pleased to see an RS aswell and I hope its the start of many more, after all the group is inclusive to all mk1s. Roll on FOTU.

every one a beaut nice to see another millennium edition as their is one still on a drive about a mile from me and still looks like it has not moved in years. would have loved to come and say hello but it is just to far me me to travel might be able to attend the one in stourbridge on that pub you go to on a sunday

Millenium editions tend to be owned long term and I suspect that is one you've spotted

Thanks for putting on a great day. It was a fantastic day. Great club and socialising with everybody. Also liked at the meet we had Nic's CL and Tim's RS next door to each other. You couldn't get a wider gap between specs and both just as cherished 😁👍

Love the video, great to see so many mk1’s together. I wish I had some spare money to be able to buy one again. 22:40 - I always wanted those 16” optional Ford alloys, for my Collection. I only ever saw one brand new rim on eBay, but never a set. I also saw one on a Focus for sale.

They're very expensive the ESP alloys as not many examples had them.

@@usuallyfixingtinkeringESP were the 2L Zetecs with the 16” version of the Zetec alloys. Do you mean MP3/TDCI Sport 17”s, which were also available as an optional extra? The alloys I was referring to are the 16” optional ones in the catalogue on the dashboard; they’re even rarer.

The green saloon is a rare one now and it's a nice one and but there was some nice MK1s them st 170 are rare as people use the engines alot in other fords that yellow one is bright not for me but the 1.8 collection is my favourite just for the bumpers needs a estate one to finish the meeting off

I agree the ST170 has been used as a donor to modify older fords. The 1.8 Collection is always a delight!

What do you know about the Finesse model outside of UK? Here in Romania I bought a Panther black, 2 door, 1.6L MK1 with a Finesse badge on the back, but not like the one on the finesse car in the video, it was a black rectangle with "finesse" written in it.
