Hi, i think my white metal thing that goes around the airbag is a bit bent/damaged and recently my steering wheel has more wiggle room and is more to the left, although car tires were aligned perfectly - could that come from that white metal? what can i do?

I took the air bag out, the bolt out and unscrewed every screw and lifter every little tab to disconnect plastic connectors. Wheel STILL WONT COME OUT!? What am I missing ??
